koekiesbakker (89) - NETHERLANDS - OCT 26, 2011
The only thing that smells this much like Jack Daniels is Jack Daniels. Quite high level of carbonation. The taste of malts, wood, vanilla, quite bitter with a touch of sweetness all work very well together. Somthing like a little bit of ash in there as well, nice. Drinkable and delicious.

Holy (837) - GERMANY - OCT 15, 2011
Tasting courtesy of Tosca at the BBF 2011. I was surprised that this was a barley wine - very smooth. And I liked it...

DutchDrebus (6002) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - OCT 15, 2011
Deep orange, hazy colour with a decent sized off-white head. Smells whisky, wood, cork and sweet. Tastes fresh, whisky and wood. Full body, sparkling carbo.

altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - OCT 14, 2011
Bottle from Bierkoning. Dark bold amber with healthy head. My bottle was actually a huge gusher after being transported back from Amsterdam. Nice nose of chocolate, vanilla, barley and Jack. Taste of vanilla for sure with nice whiskey notes that pop around your lips. Some malts, barley and sweet chocolate in there as well. Really enjoyable once again. The White Label rocks.

Benzai (15624) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - OCT 1, 2011
Sampled at Borefts Beer Festival @ De Molen, Bodegraven. Hazy dark orange color, nice lightly off-white head. Smell sweet, wood, BA. Taste bitter, whisky, wood, slightly something roasty. Lightly sticky texture, warming alcohol. Medium to full body. Very nice.

bierkoning (13355) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - SEP 28, 2011
From bottle @ BBF 2011. Dried fruit and bourbon notes in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with dried fruit and bourbon. Boozy, alcoholic finish, but still a statisfying balance.
