Pours light brown/dark amber with no head, merely air bubbles from a vigorous pour. Nose is bready, cheese, grass and some light vanilla woody fragrance. Taste is bitter with a little bit of sweet. Big whisky booze in the mouth. Heavy body, creamy with a long aftertaste.

A: Nice brown colour, thin lacing but no head. N: Honey, plum, vanilla T: Honey, vanilla O: Lots of barrel to it, not so much more. No carbo. Still quite nice though!

Habanero (4682) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - SEP 23, 2015
Bottled. Pours amber with an average, creamy and beige head. Aroma of dark fruit, caramel and bourbon notes. Sweet flavor that end up dry, with alcohol notes and slightly bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and flat carbonation. A very nice Barley. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

markextrae (4424) - Alingsås, SWEDEN, SWEDEN - JUL 18, 2015
Bottle at home, found in the cellar. Poured a slight hazy Amber colour with a non lasting tanned head. Nose has sticky caramel, malts, buttery, slight toasted nut notes, vanilla, oak, and spicy bourbon, slight tannis note shining trough. Full bodied oily mouthfeel. But i think it has fallen off quite a bit

Bottled 330ml (BB 09/2013)
Thanks Edo! Amber color, a bit hazy, tiny, mostly vanishing white head. Toffee and vanilla in the nose, also some alcohol. Very thin body, almost watery! Evident alcohol, whisky but more cheap one than JD. Light hops, light toffee. Very simple and big dissapointment. Perhaps doesn’t improve by aging ... or it is different between bottles. I’ve had better Emelisse White Labels.

MarcoDL (4973) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 23, 2013
Another brilliant beer from Emelisse’s White Label series. It has an extremely deep taste with a delicious flow of Vanilla.

gEUS (1637) - Linden, BELGIUM - APR 17, 2013
On tap @ Borefts 2012 - taken from notes.- pours amber with no head. Notes of malt, honey, bit of boozy bourbony notes, hops. Fruity, vanilla notes. Nice!

Cuso (8691) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - APR 10, 2013
Bottle. Hazy amber colored beer with thick white head. Aroma of sweet malt, bourbon, fruits, vanilla. Sweet malty taste with fruity notes, vanilla, bourbon, wood. Nice barleywine.

daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - DEC 6, 2012
Clear, light amber pour. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla, toasted oak, and sweet caramel. Too sweet and hot on the tongue. Sticky toffee, oak and bourbon flavors.

Ibrew2or3 (8614) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - DEC 4, 2012
33cl bottle pours clear copper with a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up spicy sticky oak, whiskey booze and some boozy heat. The thin almost watery body gives up a mix of molasses covered spicy oak and a mild sweet apple to plum sensation. It gets boozy and vaguely whisky into the finish. The sugar booze whiskey lasted forever into the after taste.
