Brune foncée laissant une fine pellicule dorée sur le verre.
Arôme de tourbe et Speyside gardant aussi ce bouquet de stout, chocolat et malt grillé avec une légère torréfaction.

Medium fluffy tan head, disappears slow and leaves a sticky foam on the glass and vast tan lacing on top of a black colored beer.
Smell glue, wood glue, whiskey tones, hint of sharper plastic and hints of coffee, cream and vanilla.
Taste lots of earth, some roasted barley malts, bitter, light creamy sweet tints, wood, tar, wood lactose bacteria, hint of clay, woody herbs, some chocolate.
A bit weak aftertaste of earth, medium bitter, some bitter chocolate and roasted herbs/hops.
Low carbo, soft oily mouthfeel, full body and a creamy oily texture.

Bottle from Ober. Thanks! Black pour, brown head. Nice peaty band aid aroma jumps out followed by some oak, chocolate and roast. Smoke, peat, chocolate, wet oak and tar flavors.

Pours a dark brown, black colour without a head. Aroma is really intense; tar, smoked wood and peat. Flavour of strong smoked wood, peat, salty licorice, burnt malts and whisky after a while. Mellow sweet toffee in the back. Full bodied, oily smooth mouthfeel and a warming smoky finish where the whisky dominates. Heavy stuff and works well for me.

Opaque black color, small beige head. Beautiful Ardbeg smokey aroma. Medium-bodied. Lots of wood, islay whiskey, roastyness, alcohol. This is full of Ardberg which is not bad ... it is excellent.

Bottle @ pre-TFODRBSG, Ulfborg. Almost black with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and heavy peated smoke. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Jet black appearance with a thin tan head that soon dissipates.
Nose is full on Ardbeg whisky, a little leather and roast malt in the background and a whiff of booze.
Tastes as nose, a little licqourice and a metallic tinge. Sweet tasting,
Good smooth mouthfeel with little noticeable carbonation, slightly sticky and cloying in a boozy whisky finish,
