Bottle shared at/from Maakun’s. Thanks! Black with thin tan head. Oldest Emelisse I ever had, from 2012. Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts, syruppy sweetness, nuttiness, earthy and fatty roasted coffee bean notes, deep dried dark fruits, dates, blackberries, prunes, whisky and oak. Moderate sweet and smooth deep bitter. Full body, nearing that velvet soft feel, soft carbonation, powdery dryness in the texture. Damn, what a pleasure to taste then good ol’ times of Emelisse White Label series at their peak. Maakun (6543) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - OCT 18, 2017
Bottle shared, best before 2015 thanks to Bierkoning for the bottle. Black with small light beige bubbles. Soft whisky, roast, dark chocolate, toffee, port wine, blackberries, dried red fruits, tar, marzipan. Over medium sweet and just medium bitter with a light tart touch. Over medium bodied with low carbonation. You can taste that it's old but it held up very well. Great beer. Ungstrup (38547) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 5, 2017
A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, spicy hops, and whiskey, leading to a dry roasted finish. bartlebier (4159) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - JUL 13, 2017
33cl 2012ish Vintage bb2015, capped 2017-7. - Roughly cupboard-cellared and held up well: thinned out to a flat but lovely vanilla vinsanto, lush with zesty dried stone fruit and cocoa. Massive vanilla, middle Wiener Kaffee and a cognac to porto fruity alcohol blush makes this flat nectar still an enjoyable treat. Svesse (8821) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - FEB 19, 2017
(Bottle) Black colour with brief, bubbly, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of black coffee, oak wood, whisky, liquorice, cacao, raisins and dried fruit. Malty, roasted taste with black coffee, liquorice, hints of tar, dark chocolate, dried fruit, oak wood, whisky, burnt sugar, hints of anise and a generous coffee bitterness in the finish. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Rounded mouthfeel. Solid imperial stout, with liquorice, tar and whisky flavours. Very nice.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small to no head, few big unstable bubbles, that’s it. Aroma: sweet, dried fruits, alcohol, whiskey, caramel. MF: no carbon, full body. Taste: very sugary, alcohol, lots of vanilla, sweet, dark chocolate, some coffee. Aftertaste: alcohol, bitter hops, vanilla, coffee, roasted, dark chocolate, bitter finish. Nice one!

Opaque black - brown beer, few pale tan bubbles, Palate is smooth and dry, not much carbonation. Smooth mild dark malts, fruity whisky, little dark chocolate. Light dry finish. The near flat body robs this of some vibrancy but it’s okay.
Bottle at tuulensuu, Tampere. Black color, small brown. Aroma is full roasty body, casks, licorice, coffee. Full body, roasty, coffee, whiskey cask, hoppu end.
