magdalar (516) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - OCT 8, 2012
A wonderful concoction. Smells sweet, with molasses and a hint of toffee. Tastes very sweet, with a small bitterness, and a feeling of honey. Some dark berries, a black currant perhaps. Texture is silky. Mildly cloying finish. Very little carbonation. I could drink this as a desert for quite some time...

sic1314 (4775) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - FEB 10, 2013
Pourd dark black with a small, frothy tan head. Aroma of roast dark chocolate malt. Medium body, quite creamy sweet, low carbonation, flavour is a bit vinous with some roast malt. Dry but sweet aftertaste. Nice change from the usual Emelisse barrel aged versions.

Habanero (4803) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - FEB 15, 2013
Bottled. Pours opaque black with a medium sized, beige and short lasting, beige head, that leaves a good lacing. Aroma of slightly roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla and whiskey notes. Sweet flavor that ends up with some alcohol. Medium to full bodied, creamy texture and flat to soft CO2. A deliceus and smooth impy stout. .★★★★

gyllenbock (9712) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAY 26, 2013
Bottle from Etre Gourmet, May 2013. Black with a minimal tan head. A lot of whiskey both in the aroma and taste. Also dark chocolate, some berries and licorice. The body was full and the aftertaste long.

Svesse (8752) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - FEB 19, 2017
(Bottle) Black colour with brief, bubbly, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of black coffee, oak wood, whisky, liquorice, cacao, raisins and dried fruit. Malty, roasted taste with black coffee, liquorice, hints of tar, dark chocolate, dried fruit, oak wood, whisky, burnt sugar, hints of anise and a generous coffee bitterness in the finish. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Rounded mouthfeel. Solid imperial stout, with liquorice, tar and whisky flavours. Very nice.

bartlebier (4118) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - JUL 13, 2017
33cl 2012ish Vintage bb2015, capped 2017-7. - Roughly cupboard-cellared and held up well: thinned out to a flat but lovely vanilla vinsanto, lush with zesty dried stone fruit and cocoa. Massive vanilla, middle Wiener Kaffee and a cognac to porto fruity alcohol blush makes this flat nectar still an enjoyable treat.
