33cl, as Emelisse White Label Imperial Russian Stout ’Glen Elgin Barrel Aged’, new exclusive Dutch brew Anno 2011, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex sweet Stout, roasted/alcoholic and slightly spicy/malty, heavy, yet balanced, hazy, nearly no head, very good brew, yet expensive! Benzai (15458) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - MAR 17, 2012
33cl bottle @ Arendsnest Amsterdam, shared with Dutchdrebus. Pitch black opague color, small off-white to brown head that diminishes quite fast. Smell coffee, alcohol, whisky, wood, oak and a light sweetness. Taste dark and roasted, maybe even burned malts, alcohol and coffee plus sweetish-chocolate. Medium to full body, low carbo. The smoothest of the bunch, the imperial stout is not overwhelmed by the cask. Smoky, but in a more discreet way. LoFi (1714) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 31, 2012
Bottle, thanks to MrHangover!
Black with a porous light brown head.
Quite light aroma with fruity whisky, some alcohol.
Taste: whisky, red berries like rowan berries, chocolate, light licorice, sourish like hard lemon candies, dry finish.
Unbalanced, but quite nice. It might do well with some aging. Nisse666 (7324) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 22, 2012

@ Basunen: inte så stor i doften men en mycket stor smak med mycket lakrits och tydlig brända toner. Lång och kraftig eftersmak med tydlig kaffe.

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty woody whisky aroma with hints of chocolate. Roasted malty woody whisky and chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and whisky finish. TheJestersBeer (2430) - SWEDEN - SEP 5, 2012
Pours a really dark brown, almost black, with almost no head.
Quite complex, roasted aromas, malt, fudge, chocolate, licorice, oak, vanilla, tar.
Semi-sweet, full bodied, medium bitterness, low CO2.
Roasted, oaky taste, vanilla, malt, coffee beans, licorice, tar, tobacco.
Alcohol gets a bit burning, otherwise quite nicely balanced.

Not the best of the White Labels I have had. There is no carbonation, making it flat. Aroma and Taste are as expected: great. flavor doesn’t last as long as I’d expected. Tmrobotix (44) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - SEP 22, 2012
Aroma is really good. The taste is good eniugh but the palate is not goid enough carbonation is simething it lacks, which makes its less than perfect
