Level 42 bottleshare, Santa is flying past below! Thanks to Daniel. Clear deep amber beer, patchy pale tan head. Palate is smooth and soft and a little dry. Smooth dark malts, no roast here. Mild dark malt cream. Peat is evident but not too minging! Mild spice and dark fruits. Not bad for a peat job.
Bottle at level 42, thanks to Daniel. It pours jet black with a thick light tan head. The aroma is fairly mellow actually.... roasted malt, rich, sweetish, wood, mild smoke and cocoa. The taste is smooth, rich roasted malt, toasty, dark chocolate, warming alcohol, rocky road, spice, medicinal, TCP and some chewy malt with a smooth finish. Full body, fine carbonation and slick mouth - feel. Rich, warming and quaffable. Pretty tasty. The_Osprey (9723) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 24, 2016

Bottle shared on Level 42 19/12/2016. Many thanks to Daniel for this. A dark mahogany brown coloured pour with a halo of loose mid tan head. Aroma is smoked peat, mint, brown sugars, . Palate is smooth and velvety, creamy, lowish carbonation. Flavour is composed of semi sweet malts, smokey peat, phenol, liquorice, dark choc and raspberry, Lingering dark choc. Good complexity, not too much phenols. Leighton (22836) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 19, 2016
Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Daniel. Pours black-brown with a frothy, beige head. The nose smacks of mild oxidation, moderate peat, dusty cocoa. Medium sweet flavour with nice oily peat character, baking cocoa, ash, scorched earth, some leather. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with some alcohol warmth, woody dryness, more ash, big peat, burnt caramel. Fun stuff. ads135 (5215) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - AUG 9, 2015
Pretty decent imperial stout, but not the best from Emelisse. Lots of smoke, vague saltiness, but mostly chocolate and coffee. LomYst (929) - Rotterdam, NETHERLANDS - AUG 4, 2014

Peat! smoke, but not the salty kind.. sour peaty body.. unbalanced unlike some other white labels mcberko (19886) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 16, 2014
330mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Nose is heavily peated, with not much but smoked whiskey malt. Flavour is no less restrained, revealing harsh peated notes. Difficult to drink, but it’s pleasant enough if you like peat bombs.
