Dark opaque chocolate brown; not much head. Aroma of molasses and dark red fruits. Taste is fruitcake leading to burnt malts. Palate perfect for this sort of beer. Very nice! jmgreenuk (9864) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - FEB 19, 2014
Bottle from Biernavigatie. Poured a murky dark brown with a bubbly off-white head. The aroma is dry roasted malt, yeast and with the slightest hint of toffee. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet, with a smooth, rich, ripe fruit, malt, alcoholic bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. The initial taste wasn’t so good, but it grew on me. Not that much though... just a little. There are many greater beers that have come out of Kamperland! Patrickctenchi (6692) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - FEB 17, 2014

Pretty nice. NikkTwist (3307) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 17, 2014
Draft at Khyber Pass. Very cloudy caramel brown pour with some slght tan foam. Raisins and toffee. Vanilla Tootsie Rolls. Honey chews. Cardamom. Watery mocha espresso with an odd chalky dry finish. Unusual, but not worth seeking out. shrubber85 (11573) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - FEB 9, 2014

33cl bottle at home. Dark brown with a medium off-white head. Medium to full body with light to medium carbonation. Sweet with some herbal tones. Caramel, brown sugar, spices and herbs. A great winter brew! unclemike (3170) - Junction City Kansas, Kansas, USA - FEB 2, 2014
Ginger and tangerine aroma. Cloudy, brown color, beige disappearing head, not much lace. Sweet, bitter, orange, grassy. Sticky yet flat. Flavorful but a bit off balance RobertDale (6755) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - FEB 1, 2014

Head is initially small, frothy/fizzy, brown, fully diminishing.
Body is muddy medium to dark amber.
Aroma is moderately to heavily malty (caramel), lightly hoppy (flowers), with notes of dried mango, alcohol.
Flavor is heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter.
Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, soft carbonation, moderately to heavily alcoholic.
Simple caramel-sugary nose, and quite sweet in the mouth. Thin and watery for the style, virtually no head either. Mediocre. Maakun (6298) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - JAN 14, 2014
Hazy reddish dark brown, with small off-white head. Figs, raisins, then a lot of roasted malts and dark chocolate. Some spices, and a hint of orange. Nice balance between sweetr malts and bitter roasted notes. Medium bodied, with creamy, almost sticky texture. Good stuff, love the balance between fresh sweet fruits and roasted bitter.
