Light unclear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, spicy, sweet sugar, brown sugar, licorice - star anis notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle @ Papsø. Pours a hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy caramel aroma with yeasty hints and weak hoppy hints. Fruity malty spicy bitter caramel flavor with weak hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty spicy caramel finish with hoppy hints.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a thick cloudy amber with a small, beige head. Rich overripe fruit in the nose, some phenols and quite a boozy touch. Rich body, thick and syrupy, overripe fruit, a little roast and a surprisingly bitter finish. Quite some booze in the finish. 2009 Bottle. Cloudy chocolate coloured beer. Creamy caramel coloured head. Malt and marmite on the nose. Light soft palate, a little dry. Very moderate carbonation. Smooth malt with a fair dose of yeasty marmite. Subtle chocolate and not so subtle aniseed. Okay but a bit yeasty!

Tap at De Molen event 2009 ... copper .. sweet fruity nose ... zezty ... sweet spiced fruits ... nice but plain ... little yeasty
