Sample at the brewery taproom. The beer is a clear pale amber color with a medium off-white head that evaporates steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of pale malts and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of bready malt, caramel and mildly bitter hops. The finish is semi-sweet malt up front with a grassy hops aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Can:   Amber, translucent, a bit fiery, large frothy off-white head, nice lacing.   Somewhat of a musty corny straw/hay/grassy nose.   Very much similar on the tongue, not too sharp, a bit metallic.   Has a straw/hay/grassy aspect, but it also seems a bit waxy and metallic.   Not as crisp and clean as other examples.   The underlying dirty straw/hay and corny aspects arent my favorite.   Needs to be more crisp, clean, and without the dirty straw/hay/grass notes.   Its not a bad beer, but the flavor profile doesnt do much for me.   Needs to be brighter.   Comes across as very dull.   Hard to think that people could drink one of these after the next given its a little heavy and not as crisp/bright as I would have hoped for the style.   Ive had better.

On tap Pours an amber color with a medium white head. Smells of malt and light hops. Tastes like a good craft lager with a good hop finish. Mouthfeel is light and smooth. Overall it a pretty tasty lager.

Rather horrible liquid metal. Maybe they needed to clean the pipes but it was pretty much all metal.

12oz. can shared by bhensonb. Pours clear blonde with a huge white head and a fruity aroma. There is as light roasted malt flavor with a dry slightly bitter finish. Quite a bit of flavor for a lager.

CAN. Pours a very clear and bright medium-light amber with a decent amount of head, lacing is average. Lager-like aroma characteristics jump out at you, theres a slight hint of sulfur that reminds you that its a lager. Slight biscuit and cracker-like aroma, however it is slight. Moderate amount of malty sweetness with light bready flavors. Bitterness is smooth and rather indistinguishable. Well-carbonated and finishes clean. A decent Vienna Lager that would give Samuel Adams a run for his money....at least in Seattle anyway.

pale, clear, and a frothy white head... Had this little gem on tap at the Museum of Flight Brewfestival... loved the light sweetness and bitterness!
