A deep red beer with a huge brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of oranges as well as hints of roasted malt and acidity. The flavor is slightly acidic combined with notes of roasted malt leading to a dry end. I wonder if the acidity stems from the sampled beer is 3 month over the best befor date, though I’v never had an "old" beer with this acidity in it. joergen (28964) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 26, 2005

Amber with a brown head. Malty chocolate and licorice aroma with milky notes. Chocolate and tar flavor, some licorice, with a creamy feleing. Some salt is there as well, and the salt grows stronger in the finish along with some choclate. Much better than the stout. Oakes (18543) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 10, 2013
Med brown. Not much head. Aroma is a bit fudgey. Chocolatey palate with soft nutty notes. Good, desserty porter.
