Bottled AIBA 2003: A wonderful weissbier from a fantastic brewer. This has all the characteristics of the best German wheats. Estery banana and clovey nose, smooth, mouthfeel, with s crisp refrshing finish. Lots of banana, with some sweet lightly tart malts. You'd be hard pressed to fins a better Weissbier in the Southern Hemisphere. Delicious.

50cl botle, Regional Wines, Wellington. Cloudy muddy tan colour, bubblegummy floral aroma. Yeasty, sweet, great with brats. motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - JUN 28, 2003
quality. stuff. more vanilla and banana in the aroma than in a standard bavarian. perhaps needs a little more grainy sourness in the finish to fully replicate the best weisbiers mutant (854) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAY 5, 2003
At AIBA 2003. Very cloudy, Aroma and Flavour are full of banana esters and not over spiced. Overheard someone say "it's just like a Barney Banana" (ice cream). Quite sweet and thick.

If you stir the annoying fizz out of it, it’s a really good Weisse - on par with the German ones. Light and herbal with some spice. Enjoyed at Plato in Dunedin, NZ. Defreni (3286) - Husum, DENMARK - NOV 25, 2007
Flaske.
Pours a light straw colour with a big fluffy head although this soon dies to nothing. Has a good banana clove aroma, with a similar flavours. Could do with a slight tartness to offset the sweet banana flavours sdriessen (320) - Dunedin, NEW ZEALAND - JAN 7, 2009
Very dense and cloudy. Orange/yellow hue with a white head.
Citrus zest nose with floral notes. Yeast, bubblegum and wheat are all nice and strong. A nice, sweet hops in the aroma as well.
Sweet and full-bodied, much more so than some other hefeweizens I’ve tried. Beautiful caramel and toffee malt. Yeast and banana are present. Wheat and zesty hops are prominent in the flavours.
No real bitterness that I detected in this bottle, and there was a bit of a film left on the palate.
Overall, a bit different - but very nice! skortila (5966) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - FEB 12, 2014
Bottled. New Zealand holiday 2011-12. Old notes. The aroma has banana and spicy yeast tones. Hazy, yellow coloured with a white head. The taste is light bitter, has the banana and spiciness, some hops there. Moderate carbonation. Nice & refreshing.
