Hopfen/hops: Chinook, Amarillo, Galaxy, Citra
Stammwürze/original gravity: 12.8°P Black Forest spring water, German malts and American/Australian hops make for this easy drinking, fruity Amber, mashed for a lean malt backbone to let the tropical, piny and citrus hop aromas shine. Not only for the BBS-shaved, this Amber can be paired with different beards.

Medium body, fine foam with a nose of citrus and berries. Taste goes clearly towards the American pale ales with a decent hop note of citrus and hay. A very smooth, nicely balanced beer!

(draught) very hazy deep golden colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of sweatsocks, gooseberries and yeast, with a touch of vanilla and some high alpha pellets. flavour is more of the same, though slightly subdued, with some more pale malts, herbal hops and a hint of treebark in the light roasted-bitter finish. medium-bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at BKL. Pine forest aroma, spruce and sap. Cloudy orange, tan head. Medium to light sparkly body. Light hayish malt, broad fresh hop notes. Light red berry in the finish.

0,33l Flasche. Klarer Bernstein. Sehr schöner hoher und fester Schaum. Spannende Nase: Himbeere, Mandarine, Marakuja. Dazu etwas Malz und Karamell. Antrunk ist fruchtig-spritzig. Citrus, Himbeere, Malz und Hopfen. Schön lange anhaltend. Tolles Bier.

I bought this bottle at Bierhandlung in Freiburg in Germany. I drank it at Paris in my hotel room. In my point of view, it is not really an amber ale but it sounds more a pale ale or IPA. It is an interesting beverage, perfectly refreshing and well balanced when your lips touches this beer. The taste is watery but it is nice with a perfect dosis of hop, resine notes, a little oily, sweet touch of grapefruit, malt and there is a mineral touch, coming from this natural water from the Schwarzwald and these forests. The carbonation is a regular, pleasant copper color, thin and white foam, good job!!!
