Draft at downers grove. Nose is a soapy hop aroma with light lemon notes. Very clear pale orange color. Taste shows of some great citrus hops. Full of orange and jam flavor without much bierness. A subtle fruitless to the finish. Nice. cbfobes (2883) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - JAN 2, 2015
On tap at Emmett’s, pours a clear light brown amber with an off white head, the aroma had quite a bit of caramel and biscuits with a hint of toffee, pretty sweet, the flavor followed, loads of malt and caramel sweetness with a bread like finish, light drinking. kaser (6312) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 18, 2013

Paddle sampler on tap at the brewpub (Downers Grove, IL). My first visit to Emmett’s. Pours a crisp amber gold hue, dulled glow from within and the edges. No haze as a transparent beer comes forward. Decent sized whitish head sits atop and rings, dies to a decent ring and laces small. Aromas are some touches of caramel and pale malts, biscuits and a mellow sweetness hit a dry floral and earthy hopping. Touches of fruitiness mix with the sweeter malts, mellow. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied offering some sufficient touches of pale malts, caramel, and biscuits. A mellow sweetness grows, mixing with some gentle fruitiness and spice. Calming, mellow body offers some dry florals and earthy hops into the finish but doesn’t keep the beer from being a bit sweeter. Ok. A gentle touch of American citrusy hop elements comes into play late and after it warms a bit more.. BVery (10485) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - DEC 30, 2011
