Had at Emmett’s in Downers Grove. This is a very nice pale ale. Quite hoppy but not overwhelming. Serving: Tap DuffMan (10596) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 18, 2010
bottle, enjoyed on the 95th floor of the John Hancock building in Chicago. Bright orange copper, like a shiny new penny. Big bold grapefruit and sweet resin aroma and flavour, hoppy hoppy hoppy! I would have sworn this is an IPA. Fantastic! sickboy79 (66) - USA - JUL 24, 2010
Tap. Hands down one of my favorite pale ales. I’m a stone’s throw from the Ale House so I have it quite a bit. Just a wonderful beer witht he right mix of malt and hops. It’s just right. Highly recommended. jcwattsrugger (12517) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUN 12, 2010

I love this beer and am a loyal customer of Emmett’s. I have been drinking this beer for years, and love that it’s now available in bottles! It’s fresh aroma, hint of grapefruit and hoppy flavor keeps me coming back to the local brewery!

Great aroma, and nice head are the first impressions with this beer. Lots of hop character, especially for an APA. Great beer overall. nickd717 (4822) - San Francisco, California, USA - MAY 6, 2010
Bottle at DLD thanks to an unknown person. Pours a nice clear orange-copper color with a white head. Aroma is citrusy and grassy hops with a little sweet malt. Flavor is bready pale malt and caramel along with lots of hops, grapefruit and grass. Medium-bodied with a nice dry and bitter mouthfeel. Overall this is great for the style. conicus (1) - palatine, Illinois, USA - MAR 15, 2010 does not count
An outstanding representation of what an American Pale Ale should be. The citrus nose and palate are ridiculously good. I believe people blur the line of an IPA and an APA. Those who can appreciate the difference will love this beer. User29624 (1683) - - MAR 14, 2010
Cask at Night of the Living Ales. Pours orange - citrus hop nose. Flavor of floral and citrus hops. A little light - but decent enough. At least it was easy to get to - being on the end.
