Too sweet when drinking too bitter at the end. Tastes like a Saranac Beer that way .... Eructoblaster (4370) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 28, 2016
On tap at the Adirondack Hotel on Long Lake (Long Lake, NY). Amber body with a thin, lasting, white creamy head. Decent malty aroma with grainy hints. Its well balanced malty taste carries hoppy, woody, and grainy notes. Ends with a good woody finish. Not bad. BVery (11361) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - JUN 10, 2016
Tap at Prime in LGA airport. This sucks. A yellow-golden colored Amber? Smells like cardboard. Artificial sweetness. Wrong on many levels. GJF (1520) - Mount Vernon, Iowa, USA - APR 14, 2016
Maybe circumstance, I don’t know, but I seem to like this more than many--new york bistro after the ncaa wrestling finals. I drank a few and quite enjoyed it. Dogbrick (13751) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 13, 2014
On draught at Dinosaur BBQ in Syracuse. Clear amber color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, caramel and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of earthy malt, caramel and slight hops. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Average overall.

Left Hand Path, Brooklyn tap: Pours amber with a white head. Aroma is caramel malt and a little bit of hops. This is basically a very easy-drinking amber ale with some light hoppage thrown in. There is nothing offensive about it, but nothing very interesting either. thornecb (6055) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - FEB 20, 2014
Pours clear amber into a shaker. White head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Caramel and citrus aromas. Sweet with caramel front to back. Mild earthy hop finish. jflopsu (1795) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - DEC 7, 2013
