Sampled during CBC 2013. Amber pour with a small khaki head. Plain aroma, some nuts and toffee, light cracker if you search. Malty flavor, light nuts and toffee, bitter edge, caramel and bread. Not awful.

6 oz. taster @ EBC. Color is clear amber. No head. I had to struggle to get any aroma… no aroma at all. The flavor is weak at best. Roasted caramel malts and floral, or grassy hops. Light in body with a watery mouthfeel.

It’s a tasty ale and one of my local brewpubs gets alot of Empire Breweing Company on tap so I was glad to try it. A nice blend of hops and malt and a nice amber color.

UPDATED: JUN 27, 2012 I asked for something dark and this is what they gave me. Good thing I liked it or I would?ve walked out. A solid, tasty ale can really hit the spot when you want a beer and this one does just that. Recommended.

On draught at the International Great Beer Expo in Uniondale. Pours amber with an off-white head. Mild aroma of malt, nuts and some weak citrus. The flavor is equally timid malt and nuts followed by some mild-moderate hops bitterness. No problems, but not very interesting either.

Draft. Pours amber with an off white head. Light sweet malty aroma with some floral hoppy notes. The flavor has sweet and toasty malts with light floral hops. Pretty good.

Tap at Good Beer - I have yet to be blown away by any amber ale, but I would definitely never turn this away at a brewpub. Very tasty. Smooth sweet malts. Some toffee and nuts. Creamy body. Quaffable with a sharp edge. Solid. Very tasty for an amber.

Jow (4123) - Orlando, Florida, USA - AUG 8, 2011
On tap the brewpub as part of sampler which has very generous pours. nice amber color and tastes malty, of earth, caramel, raisins, some citrus. pretty decent amber ale could have a bit more backbone

coldbrewky (1731) - Hippetown East, New York, USA - JUN 5, 2011
Draft at the Dutch (2) with my customary pulled pork sandwich. Glistenig amber in the glass with a tight tan head. An easy drinking amber with a light nose and lighter body. Surprisingly pleasant to drink. finish is elongated. A nice offering that is not attempting to out-do the rest with gimmick. A nice brew.

Had at Tap NY. Taste is extremely light with a bit of sweetness. No real body to speak of, goes down a little thicker than water. Not much here, but it could be a good session beer for the summer.
