Lively gaseous, thick head, brown in look. Nicely made, well balanced hops and malts.

UPDATED: OCT 7, 2004 Nice strong amber beer. Earthy brown in color, very little head. Almost reminiscent of another era (english strong ale) as it has ample caramel and a nice thick malty taste. Just the right amount of hops. Subtract some points because the taste is a bit muddled and dosent finish as clean.

Very full-flavored, always a favorite on a visit to Syracuse................
