A perfect stout. Really well balanced dark malts for a nice roasted chocolate goodness with a touch of espresso. On nitro tap it goes down like silk. thouse (53) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 22, 2016
Finally in bottle after 23yrs. Perfect dry stout. One of only a few nitro in bottle stouts. Follow directions on the label for the perfect pour! dankfor20 (193) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JUN 6, 2002

This is my favorite beer at Empire Brewing Company. Tan frothy head. I couldn’t smell much but maybe I had a cold. it’s an opaque black pour. Its creamy and thicker. Smokey flavor thats alittle overpowering with a hint of chocolate, possibly coffee. Very smooth brew. Mickey42 (36) - Syracuse, New York, USA - JUN 19, 2012
A proper rich stout. I had it out on the patio and it kept me warm. It has more of an alcohol taste than other locally made stouts, I find, but it isn’t over-powering. Perfect creaminess that goes down easy. Highly recommended!

UPDATED: MAR 18, 2004 This is a wonderful dry stout. Reminds me of a blacker murpheys as there is plenty of root/plant taste. Finishes a tad watery, but hey, so does guinness. Pwn3d (1962) - Manhattan, New York, USA - DEC 20, 2009
On tap at pony bar. Rich creamy and espresso nose. Pour is deep brown/black with froathy beige head, great lacing. Espresso and cocoa deliciousness. My second brew from these guys... Very impressed. jredmond (8508) - New York, New York, USA - JUN 14, 2011
Draft. Pours a dark black body with nice brown creamy head. Aroma is creamy milk chocolate, spicy tobacco, light coffee roast, and milk. Mouthfeel is incredibly smooth and creamy with notes of smoke, coffee, chocolate, milk, and tobacco. bpar73 (1176) - Bellaire, Michigan, USA - SEP 14, 2017
