An American IPA.Agressive use of fruity American hops is what this beer is all about. An intense hop bitterness, followed by a balancing hop flavor and full hop aroma. Notes of citrus and grapefruit may be detected.. This is our hoppiest beer.

SG111 (2145) - New York, USA - JUN 26, 2015
On tap at Dino BBQ, Brooklyn. Pours dark yellow color. Small light ring of lacing. Light bitter citrus notes. Not much there. Flavor is sweet citrus, biscuit malt, light bitter finish. Fairly sweet ipa but not English style.

Pours a clear amber color with notmuch head. From draft. I’m guessing maybe the keg was old because this was far from hoppy. It was malty and bitter. Only aroma/taste I got was soapy dirty dishwater and heavily bitter. Body was light and texture was thin, with a long bitter finish. I hope this isn’t their best offering....

Dogbrick (14326) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 14, 2014
Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear orange-amber color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes quickly to a film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of fruit, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of floral hops, fruit and caramel malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a short fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

ben4321 (6839) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JAN 17, 2014
Location: Sampled at Living Social Beerfest, 12/6/2013, as Empire Crusader IPA

Aroma: The nose is mild hops, grass and floral, some caramel, citrus, and earthy notes
Appearance: Pours a clear copper color with a small head and some lace
Flavor: It is lightly sweet and light-medium bitter, not super hoppy, but a nice hop flavor
Palate: The body is medium, leaning light, with a clean feel, and a light dry finish
Overall Impression: I thought this one was a decent example of a more British style IPA. It’s not close to being a hop bomb, but it is certainly a drinkable offering.

k0mpsa (3173) - Tuusula, FINLAND - JAN 10, 2014
Tap at triple crown, manhattan. Clear copper color, small white head. Aroma is mainly malty, fruits, hops. Malty body, hoppy, fruity. Dry hoppy end. Decent basic ipa.
