Lupulin Rapture Incarnate! As fervent devotees of hops, we found ourselves on a quest to create a transcendental IPA capable of quenching our voracious lupulin desires. Our mantra became unity of bitterness, hop flavor and aroma. Enlightened, duganA IPA was born: A brutally bitter, dank, piney and resinous ale designed for those seeking a divine hop experience.

Nose is very layered, but distinct. Toffee, caramel, a boat load of hops, almost to the point where you can smell the stickyness. Candy like smelling. Head is mostly white with some carbonation, and a hazy orange color. Taste is Acidic, but lots of citrus notes. Pungent and not round. Finishes with residual sweetness, a mouthful of bitterness, and lots of orange/lemon zest. Enjoyability 5/5.

Bomber, bottled Dec. 2015. Caramel malt aroma with notes of pine resin, grapefruit and floral hops with a bit of bready malt. Pours cloudy amber colored with a huge tan head that has excellent retention and some lacing. Starts with caramel malt and bready malt sweetness with light hop bitterness in the background. Finishes quite smooth for an IPA with some grapefruit and floral hop flavors before the bitter pine resiny hop flavors break through at the end, but still quite muted. Good, but would have liked a fresher bottle, which isnt going to happen for a while since they are discontinuing this.

22oz bottle 12/2/16 (Binnys Plainfield)-46 in Shaker-Pours an orangish amber with a small off white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, and malt. Taste of the same with more hops and a bit of alcohol. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and hits the spot on a chilly night.

Bomber from Albertsons. A bit like their Maharaja I think? Feels somewhat thin and watery. Strong resin/pine/funk. Overall not bad, but a lacking compared to other big ipas Ive had recently.

Bottled. Has a cloudy appearance. Has a unique hop taste. At first has a very grassy piney florals taste. Afterwards a smooth creamy taste.

Bomber sized bottle purchased at Elevated in South Mpls. Consumed from a Belgian glass with the Moeder Lambic markings. Very attractive golden orange coloring with a healthy half finger of head. Initial pine aroma with a nice citrus accent. Taste has plenty of piney resin qualities balanced well by a citrus characteristic (orange, tangerine, grapefruit). There seems to be a healthy dose of malty sweetness to this one as well. Very drinkable...finish has a good hit of bitterness and rounds out nearly perfectly. Wishing this was a more readily available option in Mpls. Very, very solid.

Bottle. The pour is bright orange. The aroma is citrus hops. The taste is a little too bitter, big bold flavors. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
