Ingredients: Water, barley malt, hops, yeast.
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year’s aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

Panzerfaust (877) - Hanga Roa, Easter Island, - JUL 14, 2012
330 ml bottle from Whole Foods Market, Coddingtown, Santa Rosa, CA. Pours a dark brown/burgundy color and a fine long lasting tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, rye, Pumpernickel, pistachios, hazelnuts, toasted grains, prunes, licorice and dark olives. Amazing. Taste is wonderful: Roasted sweetness and dark fruits shine on over an earthy, bready taste in the back. Incredible and refined! Towards the end I even feel a fig flavor counterpoint. Roastiness prevails over the caramel sweetness making this one a fantastically balanced Doppelbock. Medium to big body, not as bold as, let’s say, Andechser’s, but more refined. Alcohol almost unnoticeable. Smooth and silky in the palate. World-class and the best German beer I’ve tasted so far.

330ml bottle from hopburnsblack.co.uk, comes with a plastic goat charm hanging on the bottle neck. Very dark brown colour with beige head. Big biscuity dark malts, sweet brown bread, toffee, slight metallic copper note, light baked green apples, light dark fruits, light black coffee.

Dark brown/mahogany brown with a light tan head. Aroma of dark bread, salt, sweet alcohol and cane sugar. Taste is soft and sweet with notes of bread, salt, caramel, malt and with a nice alhololic finish.

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2018 Weak aroma of roasted malts, chocolate milkshake, vanila and hazelnut. Taste is malty and roasty with notes of hazelnut praline, dark chocolate, some vanila and subtle coffee. Lots of dark chocolate and cocoa beans in the aftertaste.

malibrat (97) - Pula, CROATIA - JAN 9, 2018

W smaku owoce, karmel. Słodkie, bardzo niska goryczka. Bardzo smaczne, o dziwo bardzo pijalne przy jednoczesnym zachwycaniu się każdym łykiem.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Flavours are roasted malt, some sugars, chocolate, some vanilla - the balance and palate are just superb, goes down really smoothly. Very enjoyable beer.

Bottle. Black colour with brown reflexes. Nose is not very intensive. Mouth is dried cherry and prune. Medium sweetness, not bitter. Soft carbonation. Not very impressive.

Black colour, strong head. Fruit / licorice aroma. Wow - that tastes nice. Licorice, roasted malt, sweet taste but underlined by a might bitterness which balances the beer beautifully. Good on the palate - medium/full body, creamy texture, and a beautiful long finish. A good beer.
