An unequalled beer, at the top of the Kasteel spectrum. The aroma and flavour of Cuvée are those of a Kasteel Donker, that aged 10 years in the cellars of the castle, noble and strong.

Beer correct but that does not contribute anything. The beer is not bad, it is made following standards but it does not give anything that does not contribute other stubs. One of the things I do not like about beer is alcohol. I think alcohol is not well integrated

Ciasteczka, przyprawy, karmel, trochę owocowych estrów, alkohol. Treściwość nieco ponad średnia, średnio słodkie. Goryczka niska, przyprawowa, wysycenie wysokie.

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2017 Gedronken in rechtstreeks vergelijk met de kasteel donker, waarbij ze beiden een kenmerkende smaak hebben en geproefd moeten zijn door elke bierliefhebber....

Very strong Belgian Ale, rich in taste, complex, yet not particularly outstanding.

Donkerbruin kasteelbier. kandijsuiker, eerder zoet, maar toch een bittere afdronk. komt aan als afsluiter van een proefavond :-)

Idiosynkrasie (7725) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - AUG 13, 2017
330ml bottle. Murky, dark brown colour with small to average, thick, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sugary sweet-ish, dark malty, slightly fruity and alcoholic aroma, notes of toffee, caramel, mandarine, orange, Cointreau, an artificial touch of cherry. Taste is sweet dark malty, fruity hoppy, notes of apple, baked apple, banana, orange, mandarine, dark chocolate, hints of toffee; sweet-ish, lasting, minimally sticky and slightly warming, alcoholic finish. Rather easy drinkable despite the alcoholic finish.

ciocanelu (2795) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - AUG 8, 2017
Clear dark brown color with red hues, tan head. Aroma has mostly brown sugar and toasted malts with some booze soaked fruits on top. Taste focuses mostly on the brown sugar and yeast character. Finish is a bit astringent and bitter. Medium body and carbonation. It’s an intense beer but this also comes with some alcohol burn.

Nordcore (1577) - Lyngen alps, NORWAY - AUG 7, 2017

UPDATED: AUG 5, 2017 Výborné řízné černé pivo se sladší chutí, doprovázenou tóny kávy a kakaa. Jemná krémová pěna.

FireGlider (659) - Zagreb, CROATIA - JUL 28, 2017
Dark amber color with small fast fading brown head. Dried fruits, brown sugar and malt. Sweet taste. Powerful, warming and sharp aftertaste. Can’t mask this 11% alc content.
