On draft at Capones for the Lost Abbey dinner. Poured a cloudy reddish brown with thin tan-red head and blanket lacing. Very raspberry, tart lemon, a little funk, with a pucker worthy finish. Tasty.

Pours murky red-ish with a beige head. Tart berries and fruit on aroma. Definitely tart! Smells fresh. Taste is very tart but fruity. Followed by a sweet berry note. Very refreshing. Superb beer!

Big pop when I pulled the cork out. Pours murky red, the head of foam didn’t stay around long. Lovely tart raspberry nose, some very light sweet aromas, woody from the barrel. Tart raspberries front and center, little bit sweet, woody, dry, I get a sense of Brett but maybe I am imagining that. Good mouthfeel. It’s been aboot 10 years since I last had this. It’s a treat.

Za drogi ten malinowy chruśniak, liczyłem na sztosa, a wypiłem ledwie przyzwoitego kwasa. Belgijskie oryginały tańsze i lepsze, nie wspominając dwa razy tańszego browna Chateau Artezan, który niszczy konkurencję.

Bottle from 2010... Poured red with a pink-ish head. Nice, tart and prominent raspberry notes on the nose. Some sourness, and dryness from attenuation. But overall a lovely raspberry flavor and sweetness with some tartness to follow. Help up strong over all these years.
