COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This top fermented beer is a luxury beer full of flavor and character whose fine balance owes itself to the variety of malts carefully selected from the best growers and the subtle blend of different types of hops, together with a new more aromatic strain of yeast. Its shimmering and sparking robe is crystal clear. It has a dense and persistent head that leaves a fine, filigree pattern on the glass.
A light refreshing beer, it has a summery bouquet with fruity and flowery notes that counterbalance its well-defined hoppy tones and generous and long-lasting aftertaste.
Jenlain Or is best served at between 6 and 8°C.

750 mL Bottle with a champagne cork. Yellow-gold body with a foamy-rocky white head and somewhat profuse effervescence makes it look very inviting. The aroma is fruity-grainy; banana, peach, pear, pineapple, light malts, and hints of ginger and lemon. Very fruity-sweet flavor; green grapes, peach, and pear stand out with an almost buttery quality to it. There is a metallic note that shows up upon the initial pour but that seems to fade or transform to bubblegum as the beer is sipped through the time I take to complete this assay. A bubblegum sweetness takes over in the aftertaste and finish. I’m not normally a fan of very sweet beers but this one has this full-bodied fruity sweetness to it as opposed to that thin sugary sweetness that I’d be otherwise prone to spit out and condemn such as I had done to another Belgian that was spiked with a most vile sweetener: Aspartame. This full-body fruity sweetness shines in the palate as well: a silky smooth that is an uncommon find. This "Or" has won my heart. Please note that this beer was had at cellar temperature.

Bottle shared at THT thanks to my dad for the bottle. Clear golden with white head. Sweet grains, quite some spices, spicy yeast, coriander, bitter grassy herbs, light medicinal, cotton, light caramel. Over medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with a bit oily feel. Better than I expected.

Apparently the most appreciated Jenlain beer here. It’s a pleasant one, like the others, nothing spectacular but a good mix between sweet taste and interesting alcohol level. As the others, I think the alcohol taste is a bit too much pronounced to enjoy it from start to finish, but in usual quantity it’s a rather good choice for any occasion. Not much better than the Amber variant, I think both worth the same. APPROVED BY TAVERNY’S BLACK METAL CREW!

Clear golden, sparkling, one finger white frothy head, sticky patchy lacing. Sweet aroma is fruity, herby, honey, belgian yeast, flowery notes, walk in a field.. Light body, sweet, soft carbonation, long fruity flowery finish. Easy to drink, nuanced, balanced, natural.

25 cl. bottle at home. High fluffy and long lasting white head. Clear yellow golden body. Powerful fruity and quite sweet aroma, I have diffulty in distinghishing which but I certainly like the fruits. The beer was a bit too warm when I drank it otherwise I am sure that I would not have noticed the alcohol in the flavor which was also quite sweet and fruity little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long finish.

Tognetta (953) - São Paulo, BRAZIL - MAY 19, 2015
Amarela escura, levemente turva. Espuma amarelada, em media quantidade, se desfaz rapidamente. Aroma adocicado, alcoólica, tonel de madeira. Paladar adocicado médio, leve amargor no aftertaste, licorosa. Corpo médio, baixa carbonação. Segue bem o estilo belga, mas o dulçor é um pouco enjoativo, seria melhor se fosse menos intenso.
