330ml bottle. Snifter glass. Enjoyed on dec´11.Golden color, chill haze. White, copious & foamy crown. Flowers, intense vanilla fragancy , clove hues & spices to the nose. Flavors are slightly malty touches, tangerine, peppery. Underlying sparkling sensation & velvet palate. Bitter finish, sweet malt notes. Flavorful body, moderate carbonation. Dry bitterness & fruits on the aftertaste. One of the best beers I´ve ever had !!
Slightly hazy golden orange with a
Thin white head. Sweet spivey aroma. Very strange sweet then dry herbal flavor. Odd

Bottle at home. Pours golden, nose is lemon, pineapple, spiced, taste is similar, bretty. Lukaduke (3206) - Gray, Maine, USA - OCT 26, 2014
Gusher ! Pours a hazy straw color with a billowing white foam. Lots of rustic earthy pepper, hint of citrus, barnyard must. Foggy grain with lots of yeast character and aggressive carbonation. Musky dry saison, easy drinker but I feel its a bit past its prime at this point. Yorker (1979) - Herning, DENMARK - JUL 18, 2014
33 cl bottle @ home (WARNING: gusher!). Pours hazy golden with a little sediment and a white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma and flavour are brett, leather, spices, and herbs - with a dry finish. MPA (999) - Amager (form. Nørrebro&Aalborg), DENMARK - APR 27, 2014
Bottle. Entered this on my iPad and it suggested "Watching Samson". "What a great name for a beer", I thought, as I corrected the auto-correct and poured this beer, which came up as fountain as I had opened it. Hazy orange as an...well, orange, I guess. Off white lovely head. Aroma is packed with impressions: yuzu fruit, pepper, herbs and spices, dirt and a little bit of sweet, morning fart. One of my own that is...which makes it a good thing. The spiciness of this beer is massive. The aroma is full of good stuff as well. Lots of pepper. Yuzu is there as well adding a fruity sweetness and ditto hint of sourness to it. Ends in a solid, earthy bitterness with a taste of pepper on the tongue. Wonderful beer which I could drink a lot of and would love to store all year long for myself and guests. Or maybe just for myself depending of stock.

11.2oz bottle in a tulip. Pours hazy golden with a big, white head. Aroma of light tartness, some spicy yeast, some fruits, light pepper, and a nice pale malt character. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not bad but not like what I now know Grassroots to make. Countbeer (6592) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - NOV 20, 2013
Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: BB 2012:
Almost foamy gusher. Massive foam in glass and also finally in bottle...
When it’s all settled: a medium sized vast thick creamy snowy white foamy head on top of a beautiful hazy dark yellow to more hazy orange colored beer.
Aromas are a lovely mix of spices, yeast/brett, wood, flowers, some soap, some fruit, some vanilla and sweeter floral/light herbal tones. Awesome aroma!
Flavours of spices, some white pepper, cloves, other spices, bitters, fruits (yellow and orange), citrus, peach, orange, wood, yeast/brett, some manure, some hops, some flowers and a crispy leave/grass tone.
Aftertaste is a mix of wood, spices, yeast/brett, malts and herbs.
Low to medium carbo, silky creamy mouthfeel, full bodied and a thick creamy texture.
One hell of an awesome beer! merc7186 (3142) - North Tonawanda, New York, USA - NOV 2, 2013

bottle at Blue Monk, very unique saison, tons of new flavor, lightly peppered, tartness, medium bodied, loved this beer crossovert (12666) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 14, 2013
Not as spicy as it could have been heat wise but it has a spiced taste, def interplays with the saison yeast.
