4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
25oz bottle. Really glad I have 2 more. Pours a fantastic opaque black hue, off white head. The aromas are blockbuster, tart cherry fruit, cocoa, but a really interesting acidity. Palate translates so well from the nose, a burst of super tart fruit up front that lingers through the mid and once it hits the finish a lighter cocoa powder. Really roasty and delicious, but so balanced, maybe one of the most balanced offerings i’ve had in a while. A seemingly flawless transition of sour and stout. Amazing.
Tasty and clean sourness. Unfortunately there is no „stout” in this sour stout but I do not consider it a big flaw. AirForceHops (8033) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 9, 2017
750 ml bottle, near black appearance, no head. Aroma of light vinegar, cherries skins, plum skins. Flavor is plums, sour cherry, mild oak vinegar, acidic aftertaste. Really nearly too much vinegar for my palate. I guess it is good for what it is. Depends on what you enjoy. Chalumeaux (1848) - Middleton, Massachusetts, USA - DEC 9, 2017
Poured from bottle thanks Airforcehops dark cherry with no head and nice lacing. Aromas of light funk tart berry light oak. Taste is tart fruit grapeskin oak and tannins. Luvystypotables (2099) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - OCT 31, 2017
Poured from a bottle, a cloudy dark brown color with a nose of brettanomyces, a bit of disappointment neither a good stout nor a good sour, light body with a tart nondescript taste and a brettanomyces finish. beer-yum (1951) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - JUL 28, 2017
Restrained aroma in a thin black pour. Tart taste is a little one dimensional to start but builds to a complex and subtle beer that is eminently enjoyable in the end. Another winner from the Bruery.

2015 bottle, very dark brown beer, almond colored head. Aroma is toasted batley and goat. Taste is vineagar, hydrochloric acid, lemon juice, lime juice. There’s no malt left now, just acid. Palate is medium, carbonation average. Drago7 (984) - Warsaw, POLAND - JUN 11, 2017

LCI. Van de tap @TheBruery. Prachtige zure stout, aroma van hout en fruit, smaken van hout en rood fruit en een prettig zuurtje!
