COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Big, caramel, vanilla with notes of fruit and malt. Finishing clean and crisp. The package is as elegant as the beer it contains: a cobalt blue bottle with platinum lettering, finished with a natural cork and sealing wax, encased in a cherry wood box. There are only 3,000 bottles of Samuel Adams Millennium, and each is signed and numbered by Koch. A bottle of Samuel Adams Millennium costs about two hundred dollars.

Lumpy (1802) - Carrollton, Texas, USA - APR 30, 2009
Bottle #2209/3000. Body-still, muddy, almost layered brown. Nose-butter, maple, rye, smells like waffles dripping with maple syrup and butter wrapped in 18 year old Japanese pussy that has been smothered with bars of gold and set upon a unicorn’s back to ride triumphantly through the sky. Taste-light honey, butter, maple, purple grape, God’s saliva, medium alcohol, perky teardrop shaped breasts heaving and exhausted with their own heaviness, all of the goodness that there ever was or ever will be, better than my first kiss, my first blow-job (receiving, you asses), or the first time I smelt my finger after plunging it into Laura Boyco on a hot Spring day in 1990. In short, it is like drinking a ball of kittens surrounded by all of the contestants from the 2009 Miss Universe pageant while they violate each other with various props. Drinking this is better than being pissed on by a circa 2002 Britney Spears while Jessica Biel licks my ass while she is wearing that wife beater that she wore throughout The Texas Chainsaw Massacre with the bottom lobes of each breast peeking out from under said shirt. In other words, this is some good shit. Oh yeah-I also tasted raisins and fig. If you have the means, I highly recommend you try this.

750 ML bottle (I think) Murky orange amber color, no head at all. Big thick AVB legs. Sticks to the glass well. Nose is a lot of alcohol, big aroma of dark fruit, fig, and brown sugar. Warming nose and very full on for the age. taste is pretty similar. Notes of dark fruits, burnt brown sugar, lots of fig. Yes lots of alcohol but very well balanced. Feel is sticky sweet, low carbonation. Very much a sipper. Has held its age very well and then some. masterpiece.

kermis (13479) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - SEP 27, 2016
Bottle shared at A Day To Sink All Sea Shepards tasting. Cloudy brown with no head. Aroma of raisins, caramel, vanilla, fudge, malt and then booze and alcohol coming out strongly. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with hot alcohol and very soft carbonation. Very boozy but done in a good way. Tried this along with Dave, and though they’re both way too strong ABV, this was the winner. [17-09-2016]

750 ml bottle shared at the original Chez Moeder Lambic’s cellar. Hazy copper-red brown color with no head. Malty aroma, caramel, dark dried fruits, raisins, light vinous, wood, alcohol. Sweet and light bitter aloholic taste like aroma. Medium oily silky body with soft to flat carbonation.

Extreme & manifold thanks to kermis!!! Gorgeous bottle. Small sample. Pleasantly warming, not boozy at all with thick sweet malts, sugar, almond, sweet walnut, very thick & rich malt body, thick toffee malts,… Superbly rich malt base, oxidation that is here only adds, sweet vanilla & malty toffee sherry. Really amazing & so much better than Utopias which is heavy oxidation & boozy. Utopias is nice & fun to try ones but this is an infinitely better beer in my opinion. The hype is real.

@ A day to sink all seasheppards. Thnx for sharing, everyone !! Pours dark brown, rather clear. No head. Smell is full, bit booze, grains. Taste is very silky, booze, grains. Sweet, full, grainy. very complex ! very nice, perhaps a bit boozey ( it IS 20 ABV , after all ) which made it the lesser one between MMM and M , but appart from that, this is indeed a great beer where I can understand the hype for

9000th rating. Huge thanks to Brad for sharing this at the lobby share during RBWG. Number 686/3000 bottle. Pours a dark cloudy brown with no head. The oma is strong booze, dark fruit, oak. Thin mouth with strong booze and caramel, fig, vanilla, held up very well, really enjoyed this.

CanIHave4Beers (4187) - Pouring Bus, Iowa, USA - APR 13, 2016
Shared nearly 2 years ago now by one Mr. BrokenSail early morning @ the Presidential Suite.
Entered as the benchmark for my 100th Massachusetts rating!
Pours a deem amber, perfectly still (of course)

The aroma is rich with some candied cherries, some vanilla and a good bit of toffee. It’s got a sort of oloroso sherry thing happening with the richness and the oxidation, but it’s also a little like PX with the raisiny things happening. It’s sherry like either way and it is also noticeably boozy, which is pretty par for the course with something as huge and rich smelling as this.

The flavor is again that sort of carefully oxidized sherry thing, a good bit of caramel & a lot of warming booziness. It’s got a good woody and vanilla thing happening. Again with the raisins cherry and toffee, yep it’s a sweet beer but there’s quite a bit going on.

Thanks Bro!

Hazy copper pour. Nose is caramel, maple syrup, butterscotch. Taste is liquid butterscotch, maple syrup. Sticky full mouthfeel. Wow. Words cannot do this beer justice.

Pour shared from a special bottle from brokensail at RBSG weekend - thanks again, Andrew! Wasn’t sure I’d ever get to try this. Anyway, it pours a clear, rich amber-copper color with no head. Notes of toffee, brown sugar, honey, caramel, vanilla, maraschino cherry, candy apple, whiskey, chocolate, and sherry. Warms the nostrils and palate. Medium-bodied, with low carbonation and a smooth, warm, coating mouthfeel. Has held up well for the most part, though more recent vintages of Utopias are definitely preferable to me. Thanks again for the special opportunity, brokensail! This is pretty legit.

Shared at RBSG 2014 in the Presidential Suite, thanks Andrew! Nose is a strong vinous, sherry, and dried fruit. Pour is still, murky brownish red. Strong fruit esters in the flavor with sherry. Lots of sherry. Stone fruit and dried apricot. Lots of alcohol lacing on the glass. Very similar to Utopias. Surprised that the alcohol warming is mild and not burning and harsh. Overall very pleasant
