Bomber gifted to me from Hutch. Many thanks El Duder-ino! As one might infer, that I, like this beer, am not into the brevity thing. Just for you non-fans, that’s TWO Lebowski inferences and I’m just getting started. A strong aroma of malt upon malt emerges with purpose from the chilled bomber. Beautiful glowing golden amber. Lively abundant carbonation. Yeah this is a pretty sharp beer just visually. Malt focused. Body is robust and swirling with sweet tones on several levels. Some sweet fruit evenly balanced with cereal and malt. Thin horizontal rings of lacing are formed. I love the rhino shaped UPC. A solidly presented seasonal that is the best so far this year.
Can into glass. Dark Amber w a thin head. Mild malt aroma and malt dominant Taste. Notes of biscuit. Decent.

Draft - Pretty clear light Amber color. Medium amount of bitterness but still has a very sweet malty taste. Taste lingers on the palate for a long time. TylerGreenDC (929) - - OCT 9, 2015
Draft. Not a lot of aroma, maybe a bit of apple and some wet socks. Flavors are huuuuge apple, like a tart cider. No hint of anything else, save for a bit of biscuit at the finish. Sweetness lingers on the palate. Not sure what I think of this one, but it’s certainly distinctive.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 22 oz bottle into a German style mug.
Appearance: The body has a nice deep amber color with very good clarity but it’s light tan head faded out quickly. I am now left with a naked beer and no lacing.
Aroma: The nose is light overall. I get light sweet and bready malt notes with hints of herbal and earthy hops.
Taste/Palate: Up front there’s some lightly sweet malt carrying some light caramel and toffee like notes. Hop notes add balance and an earthy character which leads into the finish. The feel is firm and softly carbonated. bytemesis (8222) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - SEP 17, 2015
