Hazy red orange color with a little sediment in the growler, Iím thinking this one is lightly or not filtered at all. Pumpkin is certainly apparent on the nose along with nutmeg, vanilla, cinnamon, and clove. There is a wonderful pumpkin spice note on this beer that hints on being sweet. The flavor is quite concentrated with the palate remaining session-able. Probably one of the best pumpkin ales/best beers we have ever come across.
Wow cinnamon. Very bitter and not hop bitter. This is tough to take down maybe a sugar cube in here would help. cheap (5792) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 25, 2014
Finally a chance to taste this autumn brewed beer. I dislike winter and autumn makes me think about it so donít think Iím giving this anything over a 4, heheh. Nunkin? Does this mean there is none pumpkin in this? Well if thaís what yer insuating, that there is no punky in this, it puts you into some of the ruder anti pumpkin group. Lighter brown cloudy thang. Slight co2. Slight cinny smell. Although I donít care for spiced beers this is not bad overall. Not over the top in the spices. Yaeh, sheenah. Sampled from a growler this beer poured a hazy brown-orange color with a small foamy beige head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was chai and cinnamon. The flavor was chai, cinnamon, dryish and a touch astringent. Very long finish. Medium body. Not my style. Art (3217) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 16, 2012
Smells spicy. Tastes like a Christmas candle. Good beer but overly spiced. I think my growler was the first off a keg so a bit potent.

Draft at Mad Mex north hills. Pours orange with a thin head. Nice cinnamon and other spices on the nose. Amplified spice notes on the nose. Itís a big bold taste that more than suggest chunks of pumpkin. Finishes clean. Very nice! phaleslu (10098) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 6, 2012
Draft taster from the East End tasting booth in the Pittsburgh Public Market in the Strip District. Pours a clear, rich toffee color with virtually no head. The aroma really pops with pumpkin pie, nutmeg, caramel, cinnamon, allspice, and ginger. The flavor is a milder version of that. No vegetal pumpkin notes in either. A little too light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a lightly spiced mouthfeel. Should be trying this again shortly from a growler my friends bought so Iíll update if my opinion changes. From growler. Pumpkin pie spices, with clove and cinnamon. Spicy, sweet, but not with any underlying fruity or musky-melon character. Light hop notes. Hazy copper-amber clear with thin off-white foamy-sudsy head. Some lacing. Medium watery body with medium carbonation. Starts sweet with lots of pumpkin pie spices, caramel and sweet potato pie sugary character, and a bit of Twizzler. Medium hop bitterness at the finish, with a dry nutty pumpkin pie spicy character to finish. Pretty smooth with a lasting bitter after. Nice middle of the road ípumpkiní beer, nice balance but not super intense. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 22, 2011
This poured a slightly cloudy lighter amber color with a white head. Aroma was of medium strengh pumpkin pie spices, mainly ginger, with some toast and caramel maltiness there too. Flavor was a nice blend between caramel/pale malt and pumpkin spices, they are there, but certainly not overwhelming.
