Simtra Triple IPA delivers a punch in the face with its very danky hop aroma derived from Simcoe and Citra hops. You wanted more hops you got them.

Poured into a pint glass out of a 22oz bomber. Pours a slightly hazy medium orange with a half finger white head. Considering the abv, the head retention and lacing are spectacular. HUGE hit of hops on the nose. Tons of tropical fruit from the Simcoe and Citra hops. There is a touch of caramel underneath along with overripe fruit. There is some dank too. All around, it is one of the best aromas I have ever experienced on a IIPA. The flavor continues the hops assault with overripe fruit, orange marmalade, and sweet caramel. Mango and orange dominate the fruity aspect and there is a little less dankness compared to the aroma. Vanilla and caramel undertones along with a very assertive bitterness that is necessary to balance out the malt sweetness. Alcohol is nearly completely hidden providing a pleasant warmth in the throat and chest. Quite impressive. Mouthfeel is just slightly sticky. Overall, one of the best IIPAs out there. I put this up with Hopslam as being the best IIPA available on the market. Incredible balance and tons of flavor combined with a big punch from the alcohol. A beer to seek out and pick up lots of.

Bottle from Titans, served in my IPA glass. Crystal clear beautiful copper in color with an insanely hoppy bouquet featuring tons of tropical fruits. Medium bodied with a slightly scratchy carbonation. The taste is bitter woodsy pine, sweet sirupy malts and hugely fruity hops. For such a high ABV it is much less boozzy than I expected though it does have some heat to it. Really good.

650 ml bottle from Canada Craft Club. Pours a clear golden orange colour with moderate-sized, creamy white head. Aroma is big danky, citric hops with some vinous character and a little booze. Flavour is huge, dank citric hops, some vinous white wine character, light grains and some booziness. Big body. Impressive.

Beautiful bitter bomb, hoppy as hoppy can be with a gigantic malt base to offset the brutal finish. Pour is gorgeous, a glorious orange-gold underneath an enormous head and age rings that linger after each sip. Nose explodes with citrus and cat pee, backed by an orange-tinted sweetness and the slightest hint of booze. But, dear lord, what a hop bomb, the pine-grapefruit-orange-floral pungency of the Citras and Simcoes melding with caramel-toast malts to create a flood of majestic IPA excess. Starts mildly sweet, grows increasingly bitter, and finishes uber-resinous, a lingering finish for the ages. Alcohol is completely hidden, and the feel is silky smooth. Great beer.

Medium body, soft carbonation, oily and resinous. Straight up bong water. Im sure the potheads are really going to love this. It isnt really my style, but I still enjoyed it.

Damn, this is an absolutely massive aroma and taste bomb of a triple ipa. Holy shit. As soon as I popped the top I got hit with resinous dank aroma. In the glass I got the juiciest, freshest mango, papaya, pineapple and peach. Theres a bunch of resinous pine and a huge green dank aroma. Taste follows the aroma perfectly. Super tropical and juicy, dank and piney. Slight burn but nothing offensive. This is a big one, but its actually super drinkable. Highly recommended.
