Bomber. Oily black pour with a thin tan head, great lacing. Aroma of licorice, oatmeal, bitter chocolate and roasted smoky malt. Full bodied taste with a lasting dry finish. If you can find it, buy it, fantastic brew from a small but increasingly impressive brewery.
22 oz. bottle purchased at Vickers Liquors in Newport, RI. Pours a lovely dense black with a moderate-large bubbly chocolate brown head that lasted until mid-glass and left ample lace. Very pleasant aroma of chocolate, plums, coffee, and roasted malt. The flavor is equally enjoyable with lots of chocolate, and roasted malt with lesser amount of plum and coffee. Fairly smooth and silky on the palate. Full bodied. Very good representation of the style. AirForceHops (7233) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - MAR 30, 2013
22 oz. bottle from Nikki’s Liquors. Dark black color with really nice tan, full head. Lots of lace.Nose is charred malt, bitter chocolate with a tad of booze. Flavor is of a young imperial stout. It’s a bit green and harsh. Chocolate malt, charred ash, bitter sweet malts with a touch of booze. At 9.7 a bit hot and would mellow really nice with some time. Overall still a nicely made Impy stout. reggiedunlop (3724) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 8, 2013

Richmond 19th. Black. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, a bit of pepsin. Flavor is a match. Really nice. Maybe not crazy complex, but enjoyable, and with a flavor profile I really liked. obguthr (6344) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - JAN 19, 2013
Licorice and prune aroma. Dark brown, thin beige head. Charred oak and bitter walnut. Finishes with walnut. Full body but pleasant viscosity. Solid.
