4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Dark like motor oil. Darkest head I can remember seeing. Thick foamy head. Oak. This is not what beer in a can looks like (I am smiling). Smooth and malty (but not overly sweet). I can’t believe this is 8%, I can’t taste any alcohol. Somewhere between roasted and burnt. Very impressive. I can’t remember having a better stout. i want to give it a 5.
Can bought at Systembolaget Sweden.
Short but fluffy brown head. Very dark brown color. Big roasted aroma with dark chocolate and liqrish to give a warm feel. Dry and roasted with lingering dark bitter chocolate taste. A bit thin and dry in the taste. Lubiere (13954) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 15, 2016
A dark brown stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with loads of dark fruits, molasses, plums, alcohol warmth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with loads of resinous floral hops, molasses, alcohol warmth, dark fruits, very nice. Can. Fredis23 (564) - Hickory Hills, Illinois, USA - JAN 2, 2016
Pitch Black Color, Huge Mocha Foamy Head, Lots Of Lacing. Sweet Chocolate Aroma. Toasted Malt, Molasses, Sweet Chocolate. First Sip gives a light sign of High ABV, afterwards Hides it Well. Nice, Full Bodied. Easy Drinker. Tasty. Enjoyed It. kerenmk (4802) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - NOV 24, 2015
Can. Black with a tan head. Aroma is a little woodsy at first, and then comes cocoa, like Rosemary chocolate bar from israel’s 1980s. Tastes bitter and a little alcoholic, and the grapes appear as beer meets the palate. Full body, long roasty finish with chocolate and hazelnut notes and balanced carbonation. nice. Black with a very nice dark mocha head. Aroma of espresso, dark chocolate, dark fruit, and hint of vanilla and chalk. Taste full rich, very dark coffee and bitter chocolate, with that touch of sweetness that makes a foreign stout. Coffee, roast, and bitter chocolate on palette. Very nice beer

355ml can at home from trade with Nische, many thanks. No noticeable BB date. There is a swedish sticker that says about 12/2013, but I guess that cant be right :P black color, medium big dark brownish head. smells malty roast, some sweetness, lightly sour, light smoke notes, some wood, a bit liqueurish, earthy, some dark fruits, raisins. quite nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes malty roasty, some sweetness, wood notes, light alcohol, earth notes, liqueurish, lightly sour, light ash, some dark fruits, I would say plums, raisins, coconut. finishes with some sweetness, earthy notes and light wood. I like it, but overall its rather sweet, I think the wood notes help to make it feel even sweeter. Less sweetness would make this even better. DSG (14921) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JUL 6, 2015
Can shared at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Better Beer Of The Month Club. Black with a tan head. Nice roasty aroma with some coffee, a bit of licorice, a dark fruits note, a bit of wood. Bittersweetish flavor, a bit boozy, with roast, coffee, licorice, and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Kinda alcoholic. OK, but a bit disappointing. Sehr angenehmer Geruch und schön runder Geschmack. Nicht zu trocken, leichte Schokonoten und einen kleinen Tick säuerlich. dpgjrnhcraftbrew (81) - New Hampshire, USA - APR 16, 2015
Dark brown color with a slight off white head and decent lacing. Fruit, most noticeably the grapes, are prevalent in the nose. For me, the taste is great. Coffee and grapes; a strange combo for sure but it works. Medium bodied and some carbonation too. I thoroughly enjoyed this brew and would happily pick it up again! Draught. This is an odd duck of a stout with some funky woodiness and wine action going on.
