750ml bottle back log entry thanks to Eric and Toby. Pours out straw color topped with a fizzy white head. Nose is amazing old dust basement musty notes lemon cheese tons going on. Bottle at Ryan’s January 2017 tasting - huge thanks for this one - wow. Pours a deep orange body with short white head and minimal lacing. Nose is dusty old lambic, fruit and dank basement. Mouthfeel is essentially perfect for a Gueuze - and a bit surprising given the age on this (+19 years??) Notes of lemon funk, old aged Gouda cheese, light perfume, dank basement cement, fruit, oak and cedar.

Another one off the bucket list. Huge thanks to Ryan for sharing this dusty butthole of a beer. Pours golden orange with small head. Smell is old and perfumey with complex oak, blanket, and lemon skin geueze. Flavor is lemon Earth, oak, leather, and Spanish cedar closet. Medium bodied. Bottled. 15cl sample. Many thanks to PotjeBier. :-) The aroma has overripe apples, wood, soft horseblankets and funk, little citrus, hint of cork. Bit hazy, orange coloured epicness with a medium sized, off-white and even lasting head. The taste is above average sour from mostly citric acids and some lactics. Soft and smooth overall. This bottle has been sitting in my closet for over 16 years, so it was about time...As promised long ago, shared with de Rooie Dop crew (NoiZe, Caesar & Skortila) & Bierkonijn. Cork comes out easily with a good pop. Pour a hazy golden yellow color. As good as white head, firm, a bit frothy. Delicate geuze aroma’s: sourness, ripe apples, wood, a hint of sweetness even, light cork and fortunately not much brett funkiness. Flavor is moderate to full sour, but soft, not sharp at all. Bottle thx to Potjebier, small sample. Slight hazy golden color, medium frothy head. Aroma of mellowed horseblanket and barnyard, soft funky notes, bit cork, soft aging notes. We put a fresh 3F oude geuze next to it, which had far more green and leafy hops in the nose and was sharper and more sour in taste. Millennium was soft in flavor, smooth sourness, slight citric and slight lactic. Well balanced, and kept good for more than 16 years. Ofc extra points for lambic rarity. CBCNOR bottleshare at Himmeriget, may 12th 2016. Dark golden body with no head. Aroma of barnyard, honey, vanilla ice, lemon, funk. Tart and sour taste with spices, pastry, almond, cheese.
