On tap at Monk's Cafe in Philadelphia. Clear, amber orange pour. Finger high creamy beige head. Sharp, bittersweet toasted malt flavor upfront is quickly overtaken by the burst of piney, resiny hops. Dank, citrus hops and toffe-like malt in middle. Dry, resiny, bitter hops in finish. Really well done. nealblind (1939) - Seattle, Alabama, USA - AUG 25, 2017

Super balanced IPA that maintains its complexity on the malt side, it seems like. I'd like to see a bit more hop differentiation, but a very prototype IPA, and a good model for the class.

On tap at Tap and Handle in Fort Collins. Had a few times before, never rated. Excited to have again! Citrus. Pine. Sweet malts. Normal ’west coast’ inputs into a strong IPA. Tasty. Well done, as ever, with RR. 14.6
