World Wide Stout is one of the worlds strongest dark beers. It is brewed using six different yeast strains over seven months and then aged for half a year. Dark, rich, roasty, and complex, World Wide Stout has more in common with a fine port than a can of cheap, mass-marketed beer (released in early winter with very limited availability).

Inviting aroma with chocolate, roasted coffee, plums, port... delicious, huge, an immense beer... coats the palate, liqueur/port-like, alcohol is well hidden, complex while maintaining deliciousness. Superlative.

Bottle shared at Maakuns. Dark caramel pour with a thin tan head. Notes of bourbon, burnt caramel, toasted coconut and quite a bit of dried fruit. Medium body and carbonation and a strong alcoholic finish.

Bottle shared by me. Black with small beige head. 2012 vintage. Plums, raisins, figs, burning alcohol, some dark chocolate, dried dates, brown sugar, light spices. Quite sweet with alacolic bitterness. Over medium bodied. Nice beer but too much alcohol.

Taste: Bold dark malts, dark fruit raisins, molasses, sticky, intense, boozy, some hop hidden in finish. Deep roasted malt and coffee nose. Black, opaque, and a very refined head with nice lattice. Med/Full body. Big alcohol.

Pours black from a bottle, nearly no head, what little there is is not long lasting. Aroma of cherry cordial that hasnt been bitten into yet. Flavor, Im picking up on apple, notes of bubblegum, molasses, a big mishmash but its pretty good. Boozy but not burny. Pretty good beer.

darb85 (250) - Canton, Michigan, USA - FEB 3, 2017
Sweet fruit and cocoa nose,a hint of booze. Black with minimal head almost no lacing. Sweet chocolate and a hint of cocaou and a slight booze warmth in finish. Off ceder hit occasionally. A bit of an alcohol build that ruins an otherwise good beer. Nice palate, if a little thin.

musinj6 (505) - Dedham, Massachusetts, USA - JAN 20, 2017
Aroma of pitted fruit, roasted malt, burnt sugar, hint of caramel. Moderately sweet, but countered, by warm alcohol booziness. Moderately bitter, but countered by the maltiness. Rich flavor. Medium to full body. Not quite as chewy as Id expect. Deceptive with how strong ABV it is. Warm, smooth finish. This is a great quality brew.

UPDATED: JAN 20, 2017 On tap at Bru City. Pours a dark black with a thin khaki head. The aroma is vanilla, dark cherries, very dark roasted malts, bourbon barrel aged wood, and alcohol. The flavor is a great mixture of a bourbon barrel aged wood and vanilla. The alcohol is noticeable but masked quite well for the abv. This is definetly a sipper but quite enjoyable. The mouthfeel is medium to heavy.
