Bottle @ Christers. Courtesy of Adnielsen, thanks alot Aaron ! Pours pitch black with a small light brown head. Had to be noted that looks is the only minor "downside" to this beer. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, wood, vanilla, bourbon, dark chocolate, coconut. Flavor is malts, bourbon, oak, wood, coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, dark fruits, plums, figs. Lots going and still very well balanced. Full body, soft carbonation, light warming alcohol in the finish. Fan-fuckin-tastic over the top beer. 040213
Bottle, vintage 2013. Aroma is vanilla, chocolate, alcohol. Full body. Too much alcohol in taste. neongolden (1716) - Linköping, Sweden/Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 12, 2017
(Sample on tap @ CBC 2016 Blue Session, Copenhagen) Pours nearly black with a dark tan head. Aroma is rich but not overkill on the barrel, with notes of vanilla, wood, whiskey and coffee but well balanced by a pretty heavy roast malt body that has a nice tar component that gives some serious heft to the base beer. Flavour is similarly really well balanced, roasty, a lot of coffee, toasted and roasted grain, a bit of tar, some bourbon, slightly fudgy and yet very dry for style, light vanilla, a hint of coconut, with a dry grainy toasted finish. Medium full viscous body with soft carbonation and no alcohol. A lesson in balance as far as barrel-aged imperial stouts go, bringing high flavour concentration without letting it turn into a bourbon parade. Really lovely beer. creppyiceman (939) - POLAND - SEP 11, 2017

Aroma: booz, roasted malt, hint of oak.
Appearance:black color, medium-sized dense head.
Taste: semi-dry, flavour of vanilla,roasted malt, oak,whiskey,wood, roasty/whiskey-like finish,
Palate: close to full body, low carbonation,
Overall: Good one, aroma drags down the rating a bit, its quite overhyped imo.

2014 vintage. Best imperial stout I've ever had. Midnight black in color. Taste is figs, toasted coconut, black liquorish, and slight chocolate notes. The balance of everything on this stout is incredible. davidezdonz (544) - Hong Kong, HONG KONG - SEP 2, 2017
On tap at Firestone Walker The Propagator, Venice. A 6 oz pour into a Firestone Walker tulip glass. It was a black to dark dark brown in colour with a one finger creamy tanned head that had good retention and left nice lacing. Aromas of sweet bourbon barrels, nutty chocolate, vanilla, banana cake, pretty much like dessert. Tastes similar to the aroma, there was bitter dark chocolate, cherry, vanilla, banana, nutty, sweet bourbon, oak and booze. Full bodied with low carbonation. Overall perhaps a little bit too boozy and on the sweet side, but this doesn’t put me off, and it was still very nice. Great for late night sipping.

Poured from 355mL bottle (2017 vintage - 14.5% abv). Black with minimal tan head. Very rich dark chocolate, roast malt, wood, light tobacco and bourbon. Warming alcohol finish. Well balanced, but couldn't have more than one bottle as it is almost too decadent and rich tasting. zoucrew102 (1980) - - AUG 21, 2017
Bottle, 2017 vintage. Rich chocolate malt aroma with excellent notes of roasted malt, bourbon, vanilla, tobacco and oak. Pours dark brown with a thin mocha brown head that has little retention or lacing. Starts with nice roasted malt, chocolate and tobacco flavors as well as a rich full body and smooth viscous mouthfeel. Finishes impeccably smooth with bourbon, vanilla and oak char flavors with a hint of boozy warmth. Excellent imperial stout. PhillyCraft (7582) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 21, 2017
Backlog. Bottle shared with Patrick in 2011. Pours a black color with a reddish medium sized head. Smell is cocoa, licorice, brown sugar, coffee, pine, oak, vanilla, and cherry juice. Flavor is just as incredible with wood, cocoa, figs, apples, and roasted malts. One of the best imperials back in the day. Medium to fuller mouth SimonLiew0805 (162) - Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 18, 2017
