4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Always grab some sixers of this when in OH visiting the in-laws. Noticed I never gave this a proper review. 12oz bottle into a goblet. The pour yields a dark honey-amber with a thick frothy bone-white head. Great retention, with spotty lace left behind. Pine, citrus, floral overtones. Nothing new here, but the aroma is so potent and fresh. Love it.
Medium carbonation gives this beer enough heft to hold up the flavors, but without any lasting astringency. The reason I love this beer so much is the perfect balance between the bitter hops and sweet malty backbone. I would say this even leans slightly to the sweet side, which isn’t a detriment to it at all. Grapefruit, musk melon, orange give this a nice fruity quality. The hops add just a touch of oily feel as well, and they don’t linger too long on the aftertaste. Just enough "burn" to satisfy the hop-head in me, but fleeting enough to keep me gulping this one. This is one of the most drinkable and approachable IPAs I have had, and it will be one I continually buy when in the area. Can’t wait until Christmas when I can get some more!
Bottle at Eddie George's CMH. Lightly hazed medium amber with a small short lived off white head. Nose is light honey with a big citrus and tropical fruit presence; pineapple and grapefruit at the fore with light floral and pine notes. Light sweet with a medium bitterness. Mouth is medium slick with average carbonation and a long bitter finish.

First thing that will impress you. Never ending frothy head. Next is a nice soft orange apricot aroma. Spot on! Taste is soft sweet light tangelo and fuzzy softness. Clear looks filtered. Nice mouthfeel... for abv not bad. For perfection could be better. overall an amazing ipa. Not harsh not malty ipa cone fruitiness. smeckert (13) - - NOV 11, 2017

Best IPA around. It is smooth, refreshing and clean. It's my go to beer, on tap is just as good.

On tap at the brewery; from 2011 notes.
A nice medium amber with a very durable off-white head.
There are plenty of hops in this one, that much is obvious from the nose. There’s a mix of hops, although I can’t tell which ones. The finish is markedly hoppy and long lasting, but without the strong bitterness i’ve come to expect in a beer this hoppy. Nice level of malts to balance the hops.
M- medium body and carbonation.
O - excellent, if otherwise not distinguished example of style. weihenweizen (4208) - Charleston, West Virginia, USA - JUN 3, 2017

Slightly hazy amber with a decent lacy off white head. Aroma is pineapple orange citrus hop. Taste is sharp and tropical juicy - sweet orange into pink grapefruit with a mildly bitter hop finish. Bitter aftertaste. Well-balanced. This is a strong, drinkable IPA.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 11/3/2016. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, honey, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, honey, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/grassy/citrus peel bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, mango, melon, lemon/orange rind, pine, honey, bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6.3%. Overall this is a fantastic IPA! All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the balanced bitterness. Very bright and pretty juicy/dank on hop flavors. A highly enjoyable offering.
