COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Big boozy bourbon and American oak aromas combined with soft chocolate malty undertones. Complex malt flavors framed in oak, with hints of dark chocolate, vanilla, tobacco, coconut and just a touch of dark cherry. This is definitely a sipping beer, best served in a brandy snifter. This ale pairs well with dark chocolate and sturdy cheeses.

Note: Sucaba is the beer formerly known as Abacus until the Winter 2012 release.

Dark brown opaque pour w/ a thick small bubbled tan head with thick lacing. Sweet brown sugars, oak, chocolate, hints of vanilla. Full well coated palate, thick rich and creamy. Flavor is devine! Rich milk chocolates are the lead taste, a tiny hint of tart cherry, a good amount of vanilla, a dry oaky finish, warm swallow but a very well hidden alcohol and a surprising 13%. Aftertaste is almost a syruppy sweet quality. I wish I had more of this as I think it would pair well with a big cheese or something like that. Loved it!

2016 version. Pours deep amber, quite clear actually, not much carbonation. Huge bourbon vanilla nose, cocoa powder, sweet coconut, creamy, lots of fugue and toffee. Nice caramel cake, glazed caramel on ice-cream, taste brings out that caramelised maple syrup, more like crème brûlée character. Light overall bitterness, some tannins coming out in the finish. Totally enjoyable.

On tap at Firestone Walker Barrelworks. Pours hazy chestnut brown with off-white head. Malty, caramel, chocolate, dark fruit, dried fruit, plums, raisins, vanilla, wood. Sweet with some underlying bitterness. Warming. Full bodied. Very nice.

Pours deep amber with a minimal off white head. Aroma is vanilla & oak with a hint of alcohol. Taste is exactly that and very smooth. Very, very balanced flavors. Exquisite.

#2016 Marrom avermelhada de leve turbidez, espuma bege avermelhada de média formação e média/pouca persistencia. No aroma vinho, caramelo, lupulo inglês terroso, alcool muito bem inserido. No paladar dulçor intenso e leve/médio amargor lupulado. Corpo licoroso de baixa carbonatação. Final tende ao vinho adocicado, alcoolica, malte fica mais evidente, tudo formando um conjunto muito prazeroso.

Leather, tobacco and some fruit like a motocycle party in an orchid. Plum and a little vanilla, cherry. Molasses. Pours hazy brown with good head. Thick but not overly syrupy. Tangy and sweet finish. Tap at Hazel Firestone event on CBC week.

Wahrscheinlich zu frisch. 2016er Fläschchen. Kantig, eckig und doch so unwiderstehlich drinkable....wenn man das junge Alter bedenkt 😉. Alles kommt, Rosine und Tabak geflasht von wollüstigen Metalkupfercitruskicks. Wahrhaftig looooong und sweety Alki. In Jahren wahrscheinlich noch abgefahrener, aber auch jetzt schon ein erleuchtendes BW Spektakel zwischen Fass und Wahnsinn. Jetzt hol ich mir mein Ohr 😉. Rot & Malz!? Ich erhalts 😁. Bomber. 20€. Uiiiii!!

W kolorze ciemny bursztyn wpadający w miedź. Piana umiarkowana, doskonale zdobi szkło. W aromacie kolosalnie złożone, bogate, wielowymiarowe. Mamy tutaj rodzynki, toffi, karmel, migdały, cukierki oblane karmelem, tysiące tabliczek czekolady. Na drugim planie figi owoce kandyzowna (morele, figi). Smak podąża w 100%-ach za aromatem. Masa rodzynek, ciemnych winogron, toffi, karmelu. W tle nuty beczkowo - sporo wanilli, trochę drewna. Alkohol w pełni ułożony, a to 2016 rocznik! Słodkie, wyklejające usta i podniebienie. Potężna oleista tekstura.

SBF #19 Piękne piwo. Cieliste, ale zwiewne, ciasteczkowe, z nutami wanilii i marcepanu. Półsłodkie. Z kakaowymi naleciałościami. Niezwykle złożone. Nieładnie je potraktowaliśmy pijąc w spartańskich warunkach, ale... i tak pokazało swój geniusz.
