UPDATED: NOV 17, 2014 Thanks to Bonke for selling me this! Pours hazy redish with no head. Aroma of nice deep fresh raspberries from the bush along with balsamic, lots of funk, cherries, vinegar, wild strawberries, a very weak note of lacto acid, brett, marzipan sweetness, a touch of candy, tart and alot of rural notes overall. Taste is very tart with those fresh wild raspberries straight from the bush, cherries, brett, weak acidic, balsamic, sour deep grapes, barnyard, red currants and overall extremely fresh! A nice reminder about why I love beer so much! Had the Pleasure of tasting batch 2 as well. As I remembered this had an extremely nice balance between the extreme fruitiness and the funky rural notes. It’s just so pleasing and very complex! Yet this was not a complete stunner as the first time I got it. Don’t know if it’s because of batch 2 or because my taste buds changed or whatever. This time My rating would have been around 4,4/4,5 . But because my memory of this was so good (and rating 4,7) I am going to only bumb this down to a 4,6 . Amazing beer that is just top notch and which I could drink all day long!

(Batch 4) Aromat bardzo przyjemny, wanilia, skórzany pasek, a przede wszystkim swojski syrop malinowy, taki najlepszej jakości. W smaku ciut gorzej. Są kwaśne wiśnie, ale też niestety jest ogórkowa kiszonka. Nie ma tragedii zdecydowanie, ale brakuje trochę dzikości. Czuć że jest jeszcze młode. Mocno kwaśne i odświeżające.

Borresteijn (7406) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - OCT 9, 2017
75cl Bottle shared. 6% version, not sure which year. Hazy pink colour, off-white head. Aroma of lots of funk, battery acid, raspberries, stable. Flavour is very sour, funky, acidic, battery acid, raspberries, didn't get any cherries, sour finish. Light bodied, way over-carbonated. Glad to have tried this, but this is wasted on me.

PowY (992) - AUSTRIA - OCT 4, 2017
750 ml bottle. Pours a hazy ruby red with a lightly pinkish head. The aroma is extremely fruity - raspberries and cherries - extremely dense, lots of fruits with quiet some leathery, meaty notes. Upon warming some spices join the aroma - gingerbread, Christmas spices. Very nice aroma! Light to medium body with a light to medium carbonation, a heavy initial but not offending sourness with mellows out quickly and is followed by a fruity tartness and a dry finish. Very refreshing. The aroma is full with loads of berries, sour berries, raspberries, sour cherries, some woody notes, extremely fruity. Excellent!

Tastes of sour raspberries, vinegar, wood, unripe pears, cherries, some jam.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes acidic, dry, wooden, very fruity, with sour raspberries, vinegar, some unripe fruits.

Delicious! Loads of the most lovely, fresh raspberries, especially in the nose. As the beer warms up, the cherries come through a bit more. Quite acidic taste, but so complex and rich. Among the best Lambics I've had so far!
