COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Unlike typical porters, our Baltic Porter is brewed in the traditional style as a bottom-fermenting lager. The result is a luxuriously round, but robust, black beer with a mild bitterness. A special blend of roasted malts provides this porter with flavors and aromas of chocolate and coffee, and you’ll enjoy it’s subtle hints of cherry-smoked malt.

Oh my word oh my word oh my word. This is so many wonderful things all at once. Pours inky black, plus nice head. Aromas are - where to start? Black cherry? Coffee? Chocolate? Bacon? Smoke? Leather? Blackberries? All that in one beer? Yes, and more - and just flat out delicious. Warming alcohol is an exclamation point. A treat.

W aromacie sos sojowy i pumernikiel. Malo innych bodzcow. Nieco czekolady i suszonych owocow. Barwa czarna nieprzejrzysta prawie bez piany. W smaku slodycz, przewaga melano, pumpernikla, troche zbyt wiele. Nastepnie czekolada, palonosc, alkohol ukryty. Goryczka niewielka przyjemna. Kragla pelnia, umiarkowane wysycenie i melanoidynowy finisz. Ci??kie i malo klasyczne.

A+ to trois mousquetaires for making beer that is elegant and accessible. for $14, i got to enjoy a beer that had the chance to age 6 years prior to consumption. they give you all of their ingredients and recommendations on the bottle, which helps decipher what the beer is about. this is a beer to share. incredibly intense and dense, sweet as port, complex and best enjoyed in a sipping manner, preferably around the fireplace. you don't need / want much more than a small glass (think wine), and can definitely glean the beer's celebration of dark/smoked malts by taking your time with each sip. definitely a beer for dessert or as a part of a tasting line up of finely crafted beers.

UPDATED: SEP 17, 2017 750ml bottle: Pours a jet black with tan head that does not retain. Deep coffee aromas with notes of prunes and molasses. Flavors blend well together. A slight spiciness as well. Low bitterness, low carbonation and medium bodied. Overall a fantastic beer that's well balanced and very smooth.
