COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Vintage 2005"
Our PGR has aged for 24 months on oak barrels and has been bottled for the first time on the 27th of December 2007. The main difference with the Pannepot Reserva is that PGR matured the last ten months on Calvados oak barrels, adding extra complexity to the beer. We dedicate this beer as a tribute to Jeppe & Michael of lbutikken in Denmark. Those gentlemen were the first to discover our beers on an International basis back in 2004 and are responsable somehow for our beers being all over the globe since then. As a token of gratitude towards Jeppe & Michael, the first shipment of PGR was scheduled to lbutikken so they could be the first to launch its commercialisation.

Vintage 2011. Net als de reguliere Pannepot heel erg lekker. Alleen had ik van deze nog iets extras verwacht. Ik kan echter niet veel verschil met de gewone Pannepot ontdekken en vind deze zelfs nog net iets minder uitgesproken.

0.33 l, 2011, dark garnet color. Great aroma: esters, old strong wine, dried dark fruits, caramel, toffee, a bit spicy and light smoked oak. Rich taste: good stron alco, oak, toffee, dark malts, old port, vanilla, warming and very pleasant.

2011 vintage. Bubblegum, dried figs, dried cherries, chocolate, caramel, oak, red apple, light star anise, light allspice/clove. Nice apple juiciness still present in the taste. A Belgian strong ale which has likely toned down some of its generous spiciness and yeastiness over time to present itself with utmost refinement. Reminiscent of a beautiful woman selecting the finest attire to attain the peak of her elegance.

2011 bottle purchased at Crafted Drafts. Pours clear reddish brown with a thick tan head. Aroma of malt, banana, candied raisins, oak and spice. Malty and caramelly flavor giving way to spice and candied fruit before a light oak finish.

Robe presque noire avec des reflets roux. Col fin beige, tr?s faible tenue. Nez alcooleux, de prunes, fruits secs, malt grill? l?ger. Attaque douce de fruits confis, notes de chicor?e, tabac, amertume noire chocolat noir. Malt toast?. Vieillissement en f?t bien perceptible, touche de digestif (Calvados ici). Alcool clair mais bien masqu? pour les 10%. Finale fort am?re. Texture de aqueuse ? huileuse, petites bulles. Bi?re brune forte complexe, bien ?quilibr?e.
