Had this one in the fridge for awhile and felt i had to psyche myself up a bit before i could finally crack it open. Once i did pop the bastard little cork, i carefully tilted the mystical bottle and poured myself a sipping glass of black wonder. Witnessed a ruby dark black that shifted to pitch midnight tone once fully poured. No head rested on top, just a glass of "what the hell am i about to drink?" Shifted my nose towards the rim and was treated to a very complex array of smells...cherries, port, brandy, raisin, tar, cigar, pavement, grease, fig and plum. Taste was amazing...dropping (not just hints) but full blown novels containing roasted cold chestnuts, almonds, various forms of candied fruit, fig cake, whiskey pies, grandaddy’s rum, copper (like the taste of a penny). Flavour was very complex, somewhat overwhelming, highly alcoholic, and strangely, not hard to drink and enjoy. The finish is a real kicker, settling back in the inner valleys of the downtown part of the tongue and, like tiny scorpions, just sitting there for a while and lashing their tails...what a beautiful sting. By the end of this bottle I felt like I was living inside of a Melvins record.

Zeer veel alcohol (en terpentijn) in aroma. De smaak is zeer geroosterd en peperig. Het mondgevoel is plakkerig en vol. Te veel alcohol (niet in balans) om echt top te zijn.

Beautiful black colour and thick light brown foam! The nose is very strong, espresso, dark chocolate and malt. The taste is extreme. Almost like drinking espresso, a dark and burned taste. An extreme beer, one sip and you can taste it for hours.

Wonderful. Great nose and flavor of roasted malt, coffee and a hop bitterness on the finish. Heavy and thick. Definitely a sipper. Dark black with thin tan head.

Zimne całkiem dobre, super piana jak na te parametry, w zapachu trochę palności. Bardzo gorzkie, bardzo alkoholowe, po ogrzaniu - ruski szampan. Oglnie to nie polecam, choć doświadczenie ciekawe.

Smells like a cheap wine. In taste it is extremely bitter, alcohol and roasty feel is much to much. Way too extreme (I like it but i would not recommend it).

Pours a real dark brown with hardly any highlights. Maybe, a little copper hue. Creamy mocha-chocolate coloured head, good retention and creamy-bubbly lacing. Very sweet aromas of dark fruits (plums, dates), caramel, hints of coffee, chocolate and burnt malts. Oh wow, such a sharp taste too. Kind of really bitter, like super strong espresso black coffee and grassy killer hops. Dry bitterness lingers a lot. Still, dark fruit notes. A pretty crazy, wild Imperial Stout.

375ml bottle (thanks random guy @Koht). Pitch black color. Small size, yellowish tan head stays. Cheap vodka, massive roast, some sweetness, tannins and oak in aroma. First sip made me choke. Never happened before. I wasnt expecting vodka mix maybe thats why. So as you can guess massive alcohol, massive roast and sugar in taste. Do I get some sake tones in aftertaste? Yes I do. Burns my guts later. Wtf is this? Beer extreme? Undrinkable gimmick.

Bottle 0.375 l (v. 2014, 17,5% abv). Black color, very thin and sticky coffee foam. Powerful aroma: many shades of dark and roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, alcohol, brandy, esters, licorice, bread crust, prunes and other dried fruits. Taste: brandy, burnt barley, roasted malt, very bitter chocolate with hops, prunes, burnt crust of bread, coffee. HNY!

Udany RIS. Aromat chmielowy, lekki. Wygląd jest świetny. W smaku niczym połączenie czarnej IPA i RIS-a. Nie czuć tych 17%.
