COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor's note: Formerly known as "Hornbeer Doppel Bock".

Nice hazy red/brown colour with at thick afwhite lasting head. Aroma of hops, straw, fruit, smoke and a strange but not unpleasant perfume note. Taste: Sweetness, hops, smoke and some warming alc in the end. Quite long end-taste.

Nice body. Fine spiced, and slightly smoked. But a bit to much alcohol, for me.

Copenhagen 29/8 2016. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Battling long horned goats on the label. Pours hazy amber with off-white head. Settles as thin layer of foam. Aroma is sweet and malty with some honey and caramel. Some lingering alcohol odors hanging around. Medium carbonation and oily palate. Flavor is sweet but followed and overpowered by a heavy and harsh bitterness. Quite boozy on top of that. Lingering bitter aftertaste. Would go quite well with a marinated herring - but has a hard time on it’s own.

Bottle. Pours cloudy copper brown with small off-white head. Cæear aroma of malt, caramel and fruit, with estery touches. Sourish, slightly fruity flavour, with bitter, hoppy notes and touches of malt and coffee. Sourish and bitter afteraste, with smoky hints. Okay but I didn’t expect it to be so sour. (Not off.)
