4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours a very dark brown/black with big tan head laving a healthy covering and lacing a good ways up the glass. Aromas consist of roasted barley, burnt, chocolate, licorice, smokey, very rich. Flavours consist of strong burnt/roasted malt, coffee, smoke, chocolate, toast, a bitter dry finish. Make sure to let this beer warm up a little, it unlocks the full flavour and aroma.
Pours a nice near black from a bottle. Big roasted malt aroma, hint of chocolate. Flavor is a bitter cola, again chocolate, finishes dry and bitter. Okay beer. DutchDrebus (6193) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - OCT 30, 2017
Can @ home. Dark brown to black colour with a medium sized light brown head. Smells roasty, chocolate. Tastes roasty, chocolate, coffee, hint of vanilla, chocolate bitterness, dark malts. Very nice beer. Great balance, medium body and soft carbo. drmet (1023) - GERMANY - OCT 26, 2017

-coffee,chocolate,nutty,molasses,vanilla sweet sugar upfront,plums,raisins,oats,coffee,cola,bitter finish
-light to medium body
Very similar to a Sweet Stout.
I usually don't like Sweet Stouts, but this has enough bitterniss to balance out the high sweetness. Iznogud (4357) - CROATIA - OCT 23, 2017
Bottle, 330 ml from Pivoljub. Shared with Max, JFK10000, Simon. Pours black with beige head. Roasted malts, dried fruit, chocolate, sweetish. Dry bitterness in finish. Medium bodied. angoradad (12) - USA - OCT 16, 2017
A good British porter is always a treat, so I was delighted to pick up a can of this beer. Pours black and smooth, with limited lacing on the glass. Aroma was of caramel with a hint of sweetness. Taste was chocolate with a bitter, hoppy aftertaste. Not one I'd recommend, based on my expectation of the style.

UPDATED: NOV 8, 2017 Pours black with foamy head. Aroma is deep chocolate. Flavor starts as chocolate, but quickly transforms into a bitty hoppiness, reminiscent of an IPA. Bitter flavor lingers through finish. Not what I was expecting. brunopbraga (12) - Fortaleza, BRAZIL - OCT 15, 2017

Pours dark black with a thin tan head and thick lacing.
Aroma is coffee, chocolate, ash, candied orange, plum and mint. Taste is sweet with a medium bitter finish. Nice mouthfeel but a touch thin.
Another 1% on the ABV and this would be very decent, just falls a little short. lokis333 (574) - Biržai, LITHUANIA - SEP 15, 2017
Jet black colour with decent frothy brown foam. Aromas of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee with milky notes and a touch of sweet dried fruit like figs and plums as well as a slight earthy touch. Palate, full body with smooth creamy texture leaving slight bitter finish. Taste bitter of chocolate, and coffee with a touch of cocoa. Overall, the nice rich texture just could be a tad thicker but none the less still an awesome beer.
