bottle into big sam adams glass. Amber straw ale w/ average white head, looks innocent. Nose is fucking thick & oily. Citrus, grass, pine, everything- at once. Carbonated yet syrupy mouthfeel that puckers and lasts. There are a shit ton of malts to pull this off, but all I can focus on is the hops (of course). Herbal, sticky, acidic hops. What separates this 100+ IBU IIPA from the rest though, is really how deep & unrelenting the bitterness digs. You hit so many different flavors: lemons, limes, & grapefruits. Pine needles between teeth & sap on fingers. Diesel herb & Lemon Head candy. Great beer!
Rant: How does this beer NOT have a 100% style rating??? Oh, & I just lol’ed at so many ratings like ’not even as hoppy or a palate wrecker as -insert whateva’ your favorite/typical amazing 7% IPA is-’.......Yeah, OK.
Pours caramel, golden and translucent with lots of fizzy carbonation with an aroma of malt, molasses and hops. Tastes of deep rich malt and floral hops. It has an astringent, alcohol finish. It's light-medium bodied with minimal carbonation. It's floral hops with very moderate bitterness. Less bitterness than expected. walkerrater (16) - ARGENTINA - SEP 11, 2017
Wow. Bitter for bitterness sake. Pours amber. Aroma is citrus, pine, grapefruit. Taste is strong, malty and very hoppy. So many hops that I couldn't really taste them. Just bitterness. weordie (1316) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - SEP 3, 2017
Pours copper with a thin head. A really malty aroma. Amazing bitterness but probably has lost a lot of the flavour it would have had fresh. JoTheO (224) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 18, 2017
Bottle 355ml. Copper, yellow-tinted head. Thick and oily which together with all these hops wrecks the palate totally. All subsequent beers tonight need not apply. Very resinous taste. Aroma is bready and also some hay in there. Drank this when it wasn’t perfectly fresh and maybe some of them alphas were lost but still hoppy enough. MarcoDL (5161) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 31, 2017
Bottle. Golden color. Aroma of bitter stingy resinous hop, caramel, citrus, pine and malt. Taste has really bitter resinous hop, citrus, herbal pine, grapefruit and a heavy hop burn. Quite the pallet wrecker indeed, nice.

Appearance- amber and fairly clear, some bubbles, a big, solid off-white head. Aroma- lots of hop resin and tropical fruit, malt, orange juice, pineapple, hint of caramel. Taste- hop bitterness dominates, juicy pineapple, bitter orange, honey-glazed fruit, hops, quite a solid malt presence, full and clingy mouthfeel. Exceptionally bitter lengthy finish. Hints of fruitcake. Very good. rob19a (409) - - JUL 30, 2017

A hoppy twin of Six Point Resin DIPA. Strong, assertive and wonderful. In cans , from the brewery.

On tap as part of a flight. Definitely a huge, complex hop profile. Just not well balanced in my opinion. Cokemonkey11 (1000) - - JUN 22, 2017
Bottle. Pours gorgeous amber with a thick white foam subsiding slow with residue. Scent is gorgeous notes of hickory and ash, along with notes of bubblegum which are probably vanilla. Finish is dry and smooth. Excellent.
