Looks like iced tea. Sweet rice malty aroma. Also a slight touch of grassy hops and a Belgian, but dry, quality to this. Kind of an odd ball but mostly successful. bigcat03 (323) - Columbus, Nebraska, USA - AUG 30, 2015
Bottle poured into a shaker. Pour is kind of orange with a huge thick head that hangs on. Aroma is light and has banana, malt, yeast, and a light citrus hoppiness. Starts out with a grassy and piney taste, develops to bread/yeast, and finishes again with hops. Body was a bit watery with light carbonation. Not the best offering I’ve had from Empyrean but not even close to the worst. razzanof (72) - Leavenworth, Kansas, USA - DEC 30, 2014
From a bottle poured into a pilsner glass. Coppery aroma yields to a typical "pale ale" taste with a minimal hop residue. An average beer...

A- Lima beans, wheat, cereal, creamy.
A- Copper color, clear liquid, minimal head.
T- Malty, crisp, wheat, cereal, caramel, vegetables, cream.
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, mild finish.
O- This doesn’t taste like much of a pale ale to me. Virtually no bitterness or hops. A faint vegetable smell and taste that kind of turns me off but still not horrible.

This is a pretty beer. I’m usually hesitant with empyrean beers, but I’d recommend it. MetalNHopHead (1976) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - DEC 29, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 14, 2014 Transition Ale? I guess that’s Empyrean’s way of calling this ale a mutt. I mean that in the most complimentary way possible. Its hop profile is like that of a pale ale, yet its body seems like what you would find in a cream ale. Regardless of how one chooses to classify this ale, I’m glad that I get to call it one thing: tasty. The mouthfeel is sleek. The flavor is rich, then freshly hoppy. Domino Effect doesn’t seem to fit a defined style, but that’s just fine. It’s right at home in my glass. wlajwl (6805) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - DEC 28, 2013
Aroma is malts/grains and very light citrus. The flavor is citrus, fruit/pomegranate, light hop resin, malts and a tangy/slightly sweet finish. BVery (10500) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - DEC 21, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 23, 2013 Bottle. Kind of a murky pale orange pour with a smaller head. A little bit of citrus and mild malt, but not very interesting overall. boozedude (2228) - Des Moines, Iowa, USA - DEC 20, 2013
bottle into glass, pours hazy orange, fruity funky aroma, taste is malts ad light metallic, just so so, wouldn’t do again
