A toast to the transition of the seasons: silky wheat and hearty oats with a crisp, hop character. One thing leads to another. Perfect with breaded and fried foods as well as grilled white meats and seafood.

Looks like iced tea. Sweet rice malty aroma. Also a slight touch of grassy hops and a Belgian, but dry, quality to this. Kind of an odd ball but mostly successful.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pour is kind of orange with a huge thick head that hangs on. Aroma is light and has banana, malt, yeast, and a light citrus hoppiness. Starts out with a grassy and piney taste, develops to bread/yeast, and finishes again with hops. Body was a bit watery with light carbonation. Not the best offering Ive had from Empyrean but not even close to the worst.

From a bottle poured into a pilsner glass. Coppery aroma yields to a typical "pale ale" taste with a minimal hop residue. An average beer... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. A- Lima beans, wheat, cereal, creamy. A- Copper color, clear liquid, minimal head. T- Malty, crisp, wheat, cereal, caramel, vegetables, cream. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, mild finish. O- This doesnt taste like much of a pale ale to me. Virtually no bitterness or hops. A faint vegetable smell and taste that kind of turns me off but still not horrible.

UPDATED: DEC 14, 2014 Transition Ale? I guess thats Empyreans way of calling this ale a mutt. I mean that in the most complimentary way possible. Its hop profile is like that of a pale ale, yet its body seems like what you would find in a cream ale. Regardless of how one chooses to classify this ale, Im glad that I get to call it one thing: tasty. The mouthfeel is sleek. The flavor is rich, then freshly hoppy. Domino Effect doesnt seem to fit a defined style, but thats just fine. Its right at home in my glass.

Aroma is malts/grains and very light citrus. The flavor is citrus, fruit/pomegranate, light hop resin, malts and a tangy/slightly sweet finish.

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2013 Bottle. Kind of a murky pale orange pour with a smaller head. A little bit of citrus and mild malt, but not very interesting overall.
