Tap. Clear copper pour, no head and sweet aroma. Flavor was nothing more than a little stale malt and cheap caramel. Didn’t care for this at all.

The beer pours a hazy orange-brown color with a white head. The aroma is full of toffee and grass and is fairly sweet overall. The flavor follows the aroma, with a lot of toffee and a hint of biscuit malt coming through up front, and a hint of grass and a very low amount of bitterness coming through from the hops. Easy to drink with a medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Slight hop aroma, pretty mellow flavor that starts out with a nice amount of hop flavor and caramel malt flavor. Very drinkable!

Bottle thanks to barzigkin. Poured Orange amber with a white head. Aroma and flavor were caramel, earth, and slight cinnamon? on the nose. Body was medium with medium carbonation.

On tap at the Varsity Pub in Marshall. A nice new beer in their VERY mediocre line up. Quite flavorful and tasty!

Thanks, Anna! Pretty nice ESB, a healthy amber pour with a crisp carbonation and a lively head. Biscuit malts for sure but there’s a solid hop presence throughout and some fruity undertones too. Well balanced and drinkable, even if not too memorable.

A great ESB. A world beer cup medal winner. Probably the best of the Lazlos regular beers.

Bottle @ home. Hazy, dark orange appearance with an off white head. Mildly toasty, caramel malty, mild earthy, grassy hoppy aroma. Slightly citrusy, toasty caramel malty, moderate toffee, straw/grassy hoppy, cereal flavor. Nice to see Nebraskan brews finally make it to Colorado but this one is just decent.

12oz bottle-pours amber with a foamy offwhite head. Aroma is sweet grain/light/medium malt. Taste is sweet grain/light/medium malt-bready/some chocolate, some fruit/earth hops.

BVery (10516) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - JAN 18, 2012
Bottle. Slightly hazy light dirty gold pour with a smaller white head. Aroma is a bit of aspirin and cough syrup, with some sweet caramel. Medium to lighter palate, with a nice carbonation bite. Taste is slightly medicinal, caramel, cereal, candy sugar, with a nice hop profile. I see someone referenced GrapeNuts as a flavor comparison - I like that, I also get that.
