Fluffy head with lots of lacing. Copper. Moderately sweet brew with grass, caramel and cedar notes. Smooth palate. DalzAle (2040) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA - JUL 7, 2012
Tap. Clear copper pour, no head and sweet aroma. Flavor was nothing more than a little stale malt and cheap caramel. Didn’t care for this at all. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - JUN 3, 2012
The beer pours a hazy orange-brown color with a white head. The aroma is full of toffee and grass and is fairly sweet overall. The flavor follows the aroma, with a lot of toffee and a hint of biscuit malt coming through up front, and a hint of grass and a very low amount of bitterness coming through from the hops. Easy to drink with a medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Thinker (62) - Littleton, Colorado, USA - MAY 17, 2012
Slight hop aroma, pretty mellow flavor that starts out with a nice amount of hop flavor and caramel malt flavor. Very drinkable! Rosebud butternuts (2398) - Denton, Texas, USA - MAR 30, 2012
Bottle thanks to barzigkin. Poured Orange amber with a white head. Aroma and flavor were caramel, earth, and slight cinnamon? on the nose. Body was medium with medium carbonation.

On tap at the Varsity Pub in Marshall. A nice new beer in their VERY mediocre line up. Quite flavorful and tasty! JCB (3999) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - MAR 14, 2012
Thanks, Anna! Pretty nice ESB, a healthy amber pour with a crisp carbonation and a lively head. Biscuit malts for sure but there’s a solid hop presence throughout and some fruity undertones too. Well balanced and drinkable, even if not too memorable. FredWS (2) - Nebraska, USA - FEB 18, 2012 does not count
A great ESB. A world beer cup medal winner. Probably the best of the Lazlos regular beers. cubs (10742) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - FEB 7, 2012
Bottle @ home. Hazy, dark orange appearance with an off white head. Mildly toasty, caramel malty, mild earthy, grassy hoppy aroma. Slightly citrusy, toasty caramel malty, moderate toffee, straw/grassy hoppy, cereal flavor. Nice to see Nebraskan brews finally make it to Colorado but this one is just decent. jcwattsrugger (12559) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - FEB 7, 2012
12oz bottle-pours amber with a foamy offwhite head. Aroma is sweet grain/light/medium malt. Taste is sweet grain/light/medium malt-bready/some chocolate, some fruit/earth hops.
