Murky orange-amber body, enormous fluffy off white head that went away fast. Fresh agrumey nose, slightly malty, but lactic. Nice. Nice sweet caramel-grain taste, weak metal. A tasty malty BSA but all too one dimensional.
0.33 l bottle from belgianshop.com. Poured slightly hazy golden body with big head. Yeasty aroma, fruity banana, citrus and spices with fine sweet flowery and candy maltiness. Sweetish flavor as well, candy sugar and banana, pleasant but quite simple, specially because it’s watery. Alcohol is not felt, but that was expected at only 7%. Quite short, but pleasantly sweetish finish. This is typical Belgian ale in my opinion. Not bad, but nothing special considering the style. Grovlam (4252) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 27, 2008
Bottle. Huge thick off-white / reddish head that mostly lasted. Cloudy pale amber color. Good display of lacework. Aroma of yeast, fruit, citrus, spice, metallic, alcohol. Over the palate came orange peel, toasted malt, mild pepper, coriander, apricot. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light alcoholic texture. Moderated sweet flavor with light bitter and acidic notes. Fruity and spicy mild alcoholic and warming finish. cgarvieuk (25322) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 12, 2008
Bottle at home ... Wonderful copper ... Over fizzy ... sweet sugery malt nose ... Quite metalic right up front ... big breadyness ... quite fruity ... little toffe. Hugh (214) - Zillebeke, BELGIUM - MAR 20, 2008
Amber ale, mouth filling malt body, unremarkable flavour which is quite pleasant. However, after swallowing, it tasted like I’d also drunk a set of cutlery. Quite remarkably metally aftertaste, and the skin test reinforced this. Aside from this, quite drinkiable. Evidence if yeast deposit in the bottle, which was welcome having drunk their "bottle conditioned" Sloeber.

Pours out in a hazy reddish orange colour with a large firm white head. Lively carbonation. Spicy and yeasty aroma with notes of white bread, nuts, red berries and dust. Medium to full bodied with a strong yeasty and spicy presence of pepper, thyme and white bread with touches of roasted malts, toffee and alcohol. Long warming finish of spices, fudge, white bread and mild herbs Egon (478) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - FEB 13, 2008

Bottled. Cloudy amber, small head. Sweet ande fruity, dense and spritzy. Notes of canteloupe and hay with caramelly malt underneath. Light salty finish. jacobwennbom (357) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - JAN 26, 2008
Looks great. Deep amber with big off white head. Aromas are fruity and malty. Taste is malty, fruity and less sweet than I had expected. Not to bitter either, but it feels balanced. I like it. Svesse (8683) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - JAN 16, 2008
(Bottle) Amber colour with big, frothy, off-white head. Fruity, slightly metallic nose with apricots, toffee and caramel. Fruity taste with apricots, toffee, biscuity malt and a slightly spicy finish. Sweetish, but staying within balance. Medium body. Solid and tasty, but wouldn’t suffer from more punch and personality.
