Relativt karaktärslös standard belgare. Lite beska, stor hetta av alkoholen, jästsyrlig och fruktiga toner av äpple och aprikos

Don’t remember much from this beer, which usually means I found it to be pretty average. My notes say only that the finish was nice with a firm body and good carbonation.

Bottle @ Café Buitenlust. Nice coloured beer (yellow/golden). Very active foam and bubbles, that make me a little bit worried about the mouthfeel. First few sips were quite active and agressive, lot’s of co2. As time progressed this improved a bit. Not bad at all.

Very good dark beer, decently hopped and refreshing. I would drink it any time, especially in the summer

[email protected] Central: poured light amber with a white head, tasted sweet with yeast, fruit, hop, some caramel, minor spices & hoppy bitter finish, enjoyable. Friend of mine helped with the excavations of the medieval abbey after which this beer was called.

JanLaursen (3227) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 20, 2011
Maroon colored beer with short-lived but nice foam. Dried fruit, especially apricot in the nose. Fairly complex flavor, a little towards liqueur, BUT with high, refreshing and mouth cleansing carbonation. Good balance and a very looong medium bitter finish.

een donker amber kleurig body en een volle dikke schuim kraag een zachte maar toch ook vrij fletse smaak. palate zachte caramel en een boter smaak
